Today, our heroine Yulia Zhuravleva - the stylist and founder of the educational project Self Made Studio - told about vintage finds from around the world, love for the Swedish brand Acne, military-style things and Utyana Sergeenko’s couture.
In my wardrobe a lot of vintage items, the appearance of which is due to the desire to wear beautiful and not be tied to brands and brands. There is no definite background in this and it is not a tribute to fashion, just a matter of taste, I am drawn to massive clips, feminine hats. And having found the vintage cape Yves Saint Laurent, I am happy as a child. I try to buy high-quality vintage, combining it with modern things. After all, for many decades in the fashion world has accumulated so much beauty, so why not take advantage of it?

The duality of my nature is manifested in clothing and sensations from it. On heels and wearing a hat, I feel fragile and tender, I want to watch the ballet Giselle and sigh languidly. In this jacket, the sensations are diametrically opposite: Black Sabbath plays in the head, pulls to shake its head and catch bats. Kosuhu bought at her favorite market, Chatu-Chak in Bangkok. This is a winter model of a jacket with a warm lining, made of very thick leather. Passion and collection of jackets over the years does not pass, but progresses. This jacket is so massive that on the way home I was waiting for the preponderance of luggage. However, I was not taken aback and put on half of my purchases. In the 30-degree heat with a red face under the squeak of metal detectors, I, of course, looked ridiculous, but still this jacket and a ton of other things from Bangkok to Russia drove.
I never liked New Balance sneakers: stupid fashion to walk clones, although I believe in true fans of the brand. I have the same love for Nike. Ten years ago, with a friend, I only did that I talked about “Jordans” and “Lebronjems”, went to basketball games and met with players. Even if Nike becomes mainstream or earns a general hatred, I will always be “nice” right - this is true love!

I bought this jacket a long time ago at a flea market near the Udelnaya metro station in St. Petersburg. Once there was worth all the pennies, and the excitement was limitless. I played the game "to find something worth 100 rubles." Lose rarely.
The hat is also found on the "Finishing". All men hate the hat, and I find her sexy! But what is surprising is that in Europe everyone admires this cap, regardless of gender.
Mom cares about me very much: she knits sweaters, buys socks, and, of course, things that my "butt won't freeze in winter." These pants are from this category, they are really warm and in harmony with the jacket.
I have long wanted to buy these boots, but missed the moment. But she found them at my girlfriend - lay intact. She did not wear them and apparently did not intend to. The boots were confiscated by me, naturally, with gratitude. From this pair, I do not get out.

Acne shoes are absolutely unkillable, so I buy Acne at the first opportunity in Stockholm. Better shoes than the Swedes, I have not yet discovered.
In Moscow, I wear black, and in Petersburg I remain the same, only red - two hearts of Comme des Garçons for two cities!

I bought the Acne vest on the same Ready-to-Wear due to discounts. Acne - my favorites, so about them succinctly: they have everything qualitatively, minimalist, practical.
I have a whole shelf of leather goods from Paris, Stockholm, Hong Kong, most of which need to be altered, and I rarely get to it. This dress is an exception, it fits in its original form. I bought it on vintage ruins in Bangkok almost for nothing.
I seldom buy shoes in the mass market, but this pair from Topshop is incredibly comfortable. Bought with a friend of these shoes at the same time.

I used to collect vintage sweaters, now I switched to shirts made from good fabrics. I like both the new and vintage Versace, for example. I have a lot of them. Everything is emphasized in a luxurious, striking, even, one might say, royal style. There are with Medusa Gorgon, with Roman ornaments, with royal emblems or just with the image of the royal hunt: greyhounds, horses and ornate gold patterns. This shirt is for every day. I like the combination of colors - gold and dark blue. The sea motifs, the stars and the ornamentation of this shirt make me feel like an ambitious captain Vrungel in search of a yacht.
I found this pair of shoes by American designer Steve Madden in the Siam shopping center in Bangkok. Bought without hesitation. I regret that I bought only one pair.
Cap-Kubanka - also a trophy with "Fines". I found it there for a long time, I wear it all the time. With the onset of heat, it is necessary to postpone it to the far regiment, and this makes it very hard on the heart.

I was given a hat from America. We called her Kun Lao in honor of the character Mortal Kombat - she looks so much like his hat. She had magical properties: wherever she was after a shot, after a few seconds she always returns to her head. He used it as a boomerang or launched on the ground, as a full-fledged weapon! So it is better not to anger me.
I bought a jacket in Helsinki. He is perfectly tailored, he sits perfectly, and he also has a beautiful scarlet silk silk lining, which I show to everyone.
I bought this fabulous Victorian blouse in Paris. She has lace cuffs, ruffles and pearl buttons - a real treasure. I also bought boots in Paris three years ago in Lafayette, the brand has long since worn off.

I am from a family of several military generations, of course, a craving for military in my blood. In addition, military - it is hyper-serious. Vintage orders and awards are also brought from America. I love these accessories. In winter, I wear them on my overcoat.

Acne's park seems to be forever: it saves me in the cold, it has a very warm lining. Although in the winter I am drawn to a sheepskin coat, the park helps out, and rationalism wins: a knee-deep park, you can sit on the bench in the winter and not freeze.
Wonder Anatomie is one of the favorite brands. They do futuristic things in the style of the film "The Fifth Element", only adapted for life. They can find things with such complex prints that do not tear their eyes. I wear their shoes.

I bought a Monki shawl in Hong Kong to get rid of the local currency. I also wanted to buy a bomber to a scarf, but the local currency on the scarf was over. Of course, a strange place to buy things of the Swedish brand, Monki used to buy only Stockholm, and here - new horizons.
I bought a vintage leather jacket and vest in Paris, I wear them together. I didn’t have enough 500 euros to buy a jacket, I didn’t have a credit card, and I had to turn in Jil Sander sandals, bought just a day before another jacket would appear in my wardrobe. For the remaining money, I bought a vest.
These jeans are the club "One" in St. Petersburg. I often wear them and keep them in memory of funny times. In addition, they replace the scales for me: from them I immediately understand whether the extra 5 kilograms came to me.

Body Ulyana Sergeenko - also a gift. Somehow I happened to communicate with one lady who tried to prove that Sergeenko's things are ugly. I looked at her like crazy. It is the same as criticizing Dior or convincing of the incompetence of the sculptures of Auguste Rodin. In the collections of any designer, the final product of the artist is important to me, abstracting from everything.
In my wardrobe a lot of things sewn mom. My first sensation happened in childhood, when I came to a children's party, like Scarlett O'Hara - in a beautiful dress made of luxurious curtains. All have paid attention to me. With age, I became the most mischievous and capricious client of my devoted and loving tailor mom. Sewing has become harder, and the need has disappeared, now there is money for ready-made things. I seldom ask to tailor something, because it is hard work. We expanded this velvet skirt with pearls.

The skirt of Ulyana Sergeenko is a gift. These are the finest silk meters. It seems to me that Ulyana's things do not need comments, you may not wear this, maybe this is not your style, but it is impossible to deny their beauty. Contrary to everything, they are beautiful.
I do not know why I put on the bezel of Ulyana Sergeenko and the vintage hat together. I usually choose one of the two, but here something prompted me to build such a headdress on my head.
