Fashion is cyclical: returns again and again. Looking at the photos from the shows, almost every girl catches herself thinking that her mother or grandmother could easily wear similar things 20 or 30 years ago. But, unfortunately, clothing is rarely preserved and inherited. We found six heroines who were lucky.

My mother wore these jeans when she was my age or even a little younger. Brought them from the Baltic. They lay in my closet for a long time, and only recently got their hands to narrow them a little. As far as I know, before sewing, all the parts were subjected to heat treatment, and now almost nobody does this - even in Japanese factories, where they produce super expensive denim. The production cycle that is now, and the one that was 30 years ago, is completely different. Perhaps this is the reason that these jeans fit me better than most modern couples.

In the late 80s, a friend of my parents brought my jacket from Denmark. Bought in second hand. My mother always put on the most fashionable clothes, and the 80-90s went to the fullest: with leggings, platform shoes, rubber dresses and boiled jeans. I remember her wardrobe and I understand that half of my today's are absolute replicas of what she wore.
When things went out of fashion, my mother gave them away to her needy girlfriends, so unfortunately there were no other things left from the 90s. It so happened that this jacket did not go out of fashion. Her mother wore her in the 80s – 90s, in the late 90s and early 2000s she was worn by my older older punk sister, and in the 2010s I was wearing a postpunk.
The jacket is very warm, with a fur lining, so you can walk in it until the winter. This is especially convenient for the car.

This is the dress of my mother, which she bought in the early 90s to go to important events and dances. We still have a photo where in the New Year I am a snowflake, and on my mother this is a dress. Mom wore it rarely - only on the occasion, and in childhood it seemed to me the most beautiful in the world. I forgot about him completely and saw by chance when I came to visit my grandmother. I tried on and decided to pick up for some thematic parties. Last time I wore Halloween. Felt the heroine of Nicole Kidman in the movie "Eyes Wide Shut".

Mom ordered this dress from the dressmaker when she was 27 years old: she saw something similar in a magazine and realized that she could not live without it. Everyone constantly asks where it comes from me, and they are very surprised that it is so well preserved.

Grandma bought this dress in her youth, when she was in the hospital. She decided to go for a walk outside the grounds and found this dress in a shop where, it seems, they were selling only clothes from India. That was 30 years ago.
And not so long ago I came to visit her and complained that I, as always, had nothing to wear. She said that she has several dresses in the closet for me, and this turned out to be the brightest of them. It is perfectly preserved - it did not even have to be repaired. We recently looked at it with my mother - it is very cool stitched. And I really like his drawing: as if pencil sketches.

My mother went to Paris in 1993 (I don’t remember exactly) and bought this dress there. At first his mother wore him, then his older sister, now I wear one. It was completely corrugated. But somehow, our responsible housemaid decided to stroke this dress after washing, having decided that it simply creased. When mom came home, she said to her: "I stroked him for about five hours, straightened up somehow." So now I carry his updated version.
I love him very much, I wear very often: in the summer with sandals, and in the winter - with a jacket and warm shoes. The fact that it looks like it looks like, after a billion washes, is real luck.
