Aurora Fashion Week in St. Petersburg: backstage
The first day.
The first day of hits at the International Fashion Week in St. Petersburg Aurora Fashion Week. We, Life Lab, the official advertising photo studio of this project. Four shows, four photo shoots, four famous designers, a lot of cool professionals, which was a pleasure to work with.
The Life Lab team was on both sides of the podium and gathered in between shows. We had fun discussing what we saw, inventing nicknames to people around us: Maza, Yes-you-cho, Head-tattoo, You-pancake-saw-color-his-eye, Hungry Hysterica. Probably, we also gave nicknames. Already this night some members of our team dreamed of shows.
Second day.
We write from the scene. Two shows have already passed: Sosnovska and A & V (the latter, by the way, has entertaining wigs).
We have already seen an insane amount of disguise and come up with three new nicknames: Hoof, Superman and Frostbitten. In Frostbite was in the hands of an artificial bouquet of flowers, which she constantly strove to poke Daniel in the nose ... and then Vera ... and then Sasha.
Show Romina Karamanea. A separate story, very pleasant, a bit in the style of Lady Gaga, but with the addition of a marsh theme. We really liked Romina, and it's great that this is mutual.
By the way, 90% of those on the backstage can ask: "Do you have a boyfriend?" - and get back a detailed story about the boy in both a female and non-female voice.
The main disorder of the day: in a person with a code name, you are a pancake-saw-color-his-eye is actually a lens.
Third day.
The third day ... It seems that this will never end. It seems we like it more and more. Everyone was tired: models, designers, dressors, makeup artists, stylists, a lot of left-wing photographers, organizers, caretakers, guests ... Why, the building of the Mikhailovsky Castle itself is tired of us, probably decently.
Five collections, all different, although merge into a series of bows from foreign and Moscow designers. We never recognized our nickname, there are not many new nicknames today either. More precisely, only one thing - Peacock, which belongs to one very significant person in the Russian fashion industry. But there is the main phrase of the day: "Hey, c ... ka, these are my shoes, give them away!", Said by the model under the code name Yes-you-cho. By the way, she's just great: she worked on all five shows on this day.
Before the last show, Olga brought food. Hamburger and potatoes. We definitely hated models. Some did not forget to say this.
Day four.
The day was boring. There are fewer disguises, nicknames too, attention is dulled ... To remember what happened, I had to carefully read the schedule!
An indelible impression of furs: from the designer, who interviewed himself with the FTV microphone, and his assistants and ending with the bows. Who thought that we were laughing - in vain thought: we really liked it!
The most unusual name of this day is Artem - a guy-model, very shy in life.
Max Factor stylists ran out of coffee, and we suffered without it. Apparently, in the wake of the general obalivanie from what happens at the Week, the English designer Hannah Marshal invited to drink coffee in London. Either because he likes coffee with good people to drink, or, they say, "guys, we’re getting out of here, come to me, I even have coffee."
