To whom to subscribe: Radical Beauty Project - a platform for models with Down syndrome

We continue to tell about decent accounts in social networks through which you can view the whole world.

In recent years, the fashion and beauty industry has been trying to make a turn towards inclusiveness, the presence of models with a variety of appearance features on the main Fashion Weeks and in brand advertising campaigns has become commonplace. In particular, more attention is paid to people with Down syndrome: not so long ago, Briton Kate Grant became a new ambassador of Benefit, in 2016 model and former athlete Katie Meade became the face of Beauty & Pin-Ups, and Australian Madeleine Stewart participated in more than sixty shows since its first show in 2015.

The Radical Beauty Project is a platform for promoting models with Down Syndrome, which grew out of the choreographic project Culture Device. The creator of the platform, Daniel Weiss, started with a photo project on instagram: now the page has three and a half thousand subscribers and there regularly post professional shooting with models and artists. In the future, Weiss plans to focus on creating a community that will help the models to become known, and to the society to expand their ideas about beauty. Shooting with which independent photographers are involved in the project is also difficult to call ordinary: non-standard models in this instagram can be seen in experimental make-up and avant-garde outfits, and in several photo shoots the artists of Drag Syndrome take part.
