Warm, soft and reacting to the touch of wagging the tail - this is not a cat or a dog, but a Qoobo pillow. Japanese inventors have created a device with the therapeutic qualities of a living pet - only it will not need to be fed, walked and attached to the neighbors during the holidays. A robotic pad reacts to stroking and patting with different movements of the tail, and sometimes simply wags them to greet the host.

It is assumed that the interaction with the robot will give a feeling of contact with the animal, calm and improve mood. The size of the pillow and its weight will allow it to be represented by a cat or a dog; manufacturers promise that soon it will be possible to invent the design of the covers yourself. Delivery, including to Russia, is promised next fall.
