About attitude to cosmetics
I have a very conservative strategy for choosing care products: I try to find products that are invisible and are least felt on the body and hair - light, with an unobtrusive smell, leaving no traces. Cosmetics I, perhaps, solve only two tasks: I try to pacify curly unruly hair and struggle with dry skin - this problem is especially acute in my case in Moscow. For hair from the last tested, I really like the whole line of Aveda Be Curly products. I first tried it in America, unable to withstand the onslaught of a surprisingly convincing saleswoman, who was also called Nina (works win-win). But in the end, completely hooked. My favorite remedy is a locking hairspray lacquer, thanks to which I now almost always wear loose hair. And against the dryness of the skin, I tried a lot of tools, now alternating lotions and creams Kiehl's, Aesop, Clarins, Molton Brown. In winter, like many people, I choose something more fatty and nutritious. I put hygienic lipstick and hand creams in small packages in all bags.
I do not use decorative cosmetics at all. On those few times when friends tried to make up my lips or eyes for the sake of experiment, I felt very uncomfortable, not myself. In principle, I don’t like the feeling of paint on the face, it’s very difficult to abstract from it. My mother also does not paint, I think it was inherited by me.
About habits
I often buy cosmetics on trips. Last year it happened mainly in France and in America, so this is how the mix turned out. Previously, she brought a huge amount of lotions and oils from the rest at Ayurvedic spa in India, all that is possible, with coconut milk from Thailand, creams from Israel, but it is impossible to stock them for long. By the way, I love coconut water very much, even in America I got hooked on it, but to find it in Moscow is a whole adventure. Of those that are here, I like CocoWell.
I am not tied to an office right now, and during the day, as a rule, I change my location several times, moving from one place to another on foot. In general, I try to walk everywhere. In the summer I play a lot of tennis. I get very upset and feel uncomfortable if I cannot move. I wear a Fitbit, but it seems just for the sake of those pleasant seconds when it signals that I have walked my minimum ten thousand steps. Not sure about his accuracy, but for me it is a good incentive to move even more.
On the iPhone, there is also an application with Nike Training Club exercises and a Couch-to-5K running application. The latter makes up a preparation plan for the 5-kilometer run and accompanies the run with voice commands: says when to run, when to rest and stretch. Now it is getting warmer in Moscow, I will run with it.
