Rainbow propaganda: Colored hair dyes

Last week we showed colored crayons in action, and on this we decided to explore brands that make more durable paints: semi-permanent, retaining color in their original form for at least a week.

Manic panic

Almost forty years ago, Manic Panic was founded by two sisters, Tish and Snooki, who, for a second, were part of the original Blondie line-up. The brand is known just for hair dyes, although apart from them it also makes decorative cosmetics with excellent naming (for example, there is the Oh My Goth collection and the Lethal Lips Cross Gloss lip gloss range) and even the clothes - however, specific. Dyes do not contain animal products, do not "spoil" hair, and they can also be mixed with each other (but never with peroxide).

La riché

La Riché makes several types of products: relatively durable paint (34 shades of all colors of the rainbow are available now and not only), hair care products, lightening kits of varying degrees of intensity and, suddenly, a balm to soften the skin around the tattoo. It's funny that the brand annually produces lukbuki, and the models are chosen from among its customers - last year the girl with the name Diablo Rose became the face of the brand at that time.

Crazy color

Another English company founded in the same year as Manic Panic (punk wave, everything is clear). Crazy Color specializes only in hair dyes and offers 26 shades: from canary yellow and fiery to emerald green and marshmallow, plus you can buy a set for clarification. The site has a doubtfully representative application for trying colors on hair of a certain length, but it’s better not to rely on it, but to google photos of a particular shade.

Stargazer

StarGazer is notable for an affordable price (one pack of paint costs 4 pounds) and a wide palette of shades. Pearls of the collection - a set of several shades at once, Rainbow Pack, and a line of colors glowing in the ultraviolet. In case you don’t want to limit your color changes, the company produces accessories and styling products, make-up cosmetics of a different order.

Adore

California corporation Creative Image Systems is responsible for all Adore lines: for permanent colors of usual colors, and for the sought-after, less resistant, but characteristic ones (there are four violet shades, red ones and even more). Important note: although Adore is highly pigmented, it will not take on unclarified hair at all; one bottle in 118 ml enough long hair for one or two times.

Special effects

Bright as Fuck Yellow, Blue Haired Freak, Devilish - by the names of shades you can make a fair opinion about the brand. Special Effects provides a choice of 28 shades, of which 8 glow in the dark. Shades promise to keep from three to six weeks, although here it is more appropriate to rely on the hair structure (porous better retain the pigment) and the frequency of their washing. About the possibility of not washing the color to the end, the brand honestly warns on the site - this primarily applies to pre-bleached hair.

Jazzing

Jazzing - one of the lines of the professional brand Clairol Professional. The colors are not the most powerful, and 15 shades appear in all their glory not even on light, but on bleached hair - but in the first case the color does not look dirty, but simply less bright. Experienced users are advised to keep the pigment on the hair longer than 10-15 minutes indicated on the package and, before the procedure, apply a greasy cream or petroleum jelly on the skin near the hairline, so that it does not stain.

Pravana

A brand created by "stylists for stylists" (but who would we be if we could not cope with professional cosmetics). Pravana does not use harmful and controversial ingredients like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, emphasizes its eco-friendly approach (there is no organic certificate, but the packaging is easily recycled) and participates in charity programs. The brand has an extensive collection of cosmetics for care; The paint of interest to us, ChromaSilk Vivids + Pastels, is also not tested on animals and contains amino acids silk and keratin. Colors, whether bright or pastel, promise to completely cover gray hair.

Punky color

Jerome Russell calls himself the market leader, although neither the approach, nor the brand's palette can be called unique, without a wry face. Nevertheless, the Punky Color series has beautiful pure colors that fit tightly, hold up well (from 5 to 40 washings) and go nobly. The texture of the dye is creamy, which can help those who dye their hairs yet, and with liquid paint runs the risk of splashing everything and everyone.
