Pleated and weave from colored leather Martina Spetlova

Any designer will say that working with genuine leather is difficult. Remember Rick Owens or the hero of our “New Brand” column Lado Bokuchava, creating leather perforated dresses. Czech Martin Spetlova bribes us with the fact that 90% of her clothes are made of leather treated with all means. Spetlova pleats the skin, weaves the multicolored strips of material and adds perforated items to the collection. At the same time, the designer prefers not only complex material, but also a cut: she experiments with hypertrophied volumes and cuts. The designer does not strive for simplicity and color: Martina Spetlova clothing is colored in blue, mint and pink.
Spetlova studied chemistry in Prague, started designing clothes - and won the Chloe Award for novice designers. A year later, she moved to London and undergoes several internships, which she herself calls "doubtful." She collects a portfolio and goes to Central Saint Martins School, where she graduated from undergraduate and graduate programs. Since 2010, Spetlova has been working on the brand name of women's clothing and has given presentations at the main Fashion Week for young and talented designers - London Fashion Week. Her clothes were noticed by one of the most remarkable online stores of independent designers, LN-CC, and the boutique Dolce & Gabbana - Spiga 2. You must admit that this already says a lot.
They wrote that my collections are tasteless to the point of insolencebut at the same time elegant, and I like it. I combine contrasting colors and textures and hope this makes my work unique. My client wants to score on the general rules in clothes and stand out from the crowd - I think this is important for a modern girl. In general, I always loved and hated the fashion industry at the same time. Why are the weeks in September? Because of this, you have to work all summer in the studio. Now I am just finishing my spring-summer collection, which I will show at London Fashion Week.
