Carlaine Jacobs, a 25-year-old Dutchwoman, has been shooting for both traditional glossies like Glamor and independent publications Oyster, i-D and Novembre Magazine for several years. The girl has no professional education - in fact she is a self-taught photographer. “Photography is more than just a technique. It is against the emasculated photographs that Carlein speaks out. “I see beauty in ugly things,” the photographer notes. The girl is serious about the choice of models, preferring people with an unusual appearance, as can be seen from her instagram.
