London Fashion Week: Felder Felder Backstage
Backstage reports are always more or less the same: makeup artists, hairdressers, scattered brushes, piles of shoes, hangers with clothes and paper with a name, mineral water packages and models that have a mobile phone in their hand (while they are making hair) or food did not start to paint). Nevertheless, every time backstage is fascinating, as if you get there for the first time. It is clear that any well-coordinated and effective work hypnotically acts on an outside observer, but when work is also connected with beauty, it is absolutely impossible to break away (and stop being confused by make-up artists, hairdressers and their assistants).
Most of all LFW shows are given to M.A.C - the official makeup artist of London Fashion Week. Now - quite an early stage of preparation for the show: pale girls have not yet become alien creatures with sharp arrows and dark blue lips.
Hairdressers TIGI weave models for several braids at once, and girls, in order not to be bored, in the meantime respond to emails or chat on mobile.
There are a lot of sandwich trays in the corner, but the models have a snack on pineapple.
Backstage is always a mess - and always artistic.
