Alexandra Vershuren - twenty-two-year-old winner of the competition of young designers in Yera and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (from which the phenomenon of the "Antwerp Six" originates). After the victory, Alexandra immediately became interested in Dazed & Confused, WallPaper and Ozon. In her free time, which, to be sure, not at all lately, Alexandra works as an illustrator, and this, in her words, best influences her work with clothes. She is inspired by artists like Richard Long, Agnes Martin and Donald Judd, and, above all, their works with space and sculpture.

^{I decided to engage in fashion, because it is changing rapidly. Young designers argue that the system that has existed for many years is hopelessly outdated. We are creating a completely new niche, thanks to which such monsters as Chanel and Louis Vuitton may disappear. The hierarchy will disappear, and this is for the best. The Belgian state, unfortunately, does not help young talents. All that they can do is talk about the uniqueness of Anne Demeulmeister or Martin Margiela, but in the end, no real effort is made to promote designers.}

^{As for creativity, I can say that I completely surrender to the process. Now it is important for the designer not to forget that in addition to creating collections there is also work with the press, communications and sales. I think it is not shameful to do everything myself.}
