Compositions of five modeling agencies for New York Fashion Week
On February 9, Fashion Week in New York starts, opening a series of shows of the main autumn-winter collections. The tension in these days is growing not only among designers, magazine editors and bloggers, but also among models and their representatives. As Irina Nikolayeva told in her diary, the model's face is her composer, that is, a card with a name, a photo, parameters, the name of the agency and contacts. Dozens of such cards are left for the girl at the casting, where the main task of the agency is to show the model in the best light and attract a client. Some are limited to simple black-and-white pictures, someone, on the contrary, makes collages or complements portraits and captions with patterns. Look At Me collected the most interesting composers of five agencies, prepared for the New York shows.
Soul artist
The New York agency Soul Artist collaborates mainly with fashion models. And for the few girls that Soul Artist sent to Fashion Week, the agency made composers with drawings in the form of stars, drops and bubbles.
Q Models
On behalf of Q, 16 girls will go to the castings of the autumn-winter shows. Traditional black-and-white photographs were chosen for them and with the help of color they focused on a certain detail of the wardrobe.
Fusion
Fusion, from which several promising beginner models like Crystal Copland and Tian Yi are going to New York, have written the names of the models with ink.
Ford
Last season, one of the leading New York agencies Ford presented models using simple polaroid images, and this time the Egyptian hieroglyphs served as inspiration for composites.
Img
Perhaps the most interesting composers made IMG. Each model created a collage, placing a photo of a girl in a work of art. For example, Ilse De Boer got into the painting "The Madonna Onisanti" by Giotto di Bondone, and Andrei Diaconu found herself in Pete Mondrian's "Composition with Red, Yellow and Blue".
