Yes and No: How to care for yourself in the fall

We continue to tell about what is worth and what not to do the girls in the care and make-up. This time we paint do's and don'ts of autumn care: how to deceive your own laziness, force yourself to drink more water, not get pigment spots and other important things.

Its OK

Tanning

There is nothing criminal in wanting to stay tanned as long as possible, and it is better to smear a tube of cream on yourself than to roast in the sun. Normal tanning yellow, moisturize the skin, do not leave behind a divorce. We advise you to pay attention to the Karora Irish organic brand - to whom, if not to the people of this cold country, know all about artificial tan.

More is better

Early autumn is not yet a time of nourishing ("rich", "nourishing") creams, but the standard light summer cream or gel is dry or tending to this skin will already be insufficient. Serum is not only a way to diversify routine care, but really a great help in it (more active components in a small amount of the product is their distinguishing feature), which only the cold weather favors.

Body care

If in the summer you can do without moisturizing cream, then such a thing will not work with cooling (we will not even talk about the winter temperature and scorching heating). If laziness is a friend and foe number one, a long-absorbed cream or lotion can be replaced with washable products: shower oil or body conditioner (this was recently released from Nivea). The first works simultaneously as a cleansing and nourishing agent, and the second simply moisturizes quickly.

Lip balms - at arm's length

 

To provide unhindered access to lip balm at any time of the day or night is a manifestation of the instinct of self-preservation. If the habit of using it at the slightest discomfort (or before it) has already formed, continue in the same spirit; if not, then it is understandable. The only thing is: the balms should be of high quality, and not the first available, shoved everywhere just because it is not a pity to buy another one at the box office.

Primers

Hooray, with a cold snap, you can return to the primers and silicone textures (if they suit you): they will not overload the skin, as they would have done in the heat, but will create an additional barrier from the imperfections of the outside world. Yes, and with the perfect tone of life is much nicer.

It's not ok

Self-dye hair

It is better to dye burned hair in the salon - you can lose money with the color itself (not the worst) and harm the dried up hair. If you do not have enough resources (time, money, you name it), approach the search for funds with all possible care. And certainly among professional brands - this also applies to paints, and postcoloring sera, masks, oils.

Generally forget about hair

If in the summer you don’t bother with saving your hair from the sun, sea water and bleach, you will have to answer for everything in the fall. Means for the care of damaged hair - a great many, they have every caring brand. Care level 99 - use “after sun” products (for example, Aveda) to restore hair from the sun; but the usual care serums and masks will be very helpful.

Get acid

The precautionary "not to use during the period of active sun" or "it is necessary to use sanskrin" on chemical peels or masks is not simply written. Acids increase the photosensitivity of the skin, and if you use them and at the same time expose yourself to the sun or skimp on sanblokami, you can even get pigment spots. Therefore, if it is possible to delay the start of the course with acids, it is better to delay. Somewhere until late autumn. Even better - before the winter.

Postpone sanskrin

 

Another plus of the Sanskrins: their dense texture can work to protect the skin not only directly from ultraviolet radiation, but also from cold. Oily skin may only be enough sunscreen, and owners of the dry can try to do the scheme "serum + sanblok."

Replace water with tea and coffee

In the cold season, everyone drinks more hot drinks; at best, it is tea or coffee. But the latter not only warm the body, but also significantly dehydrate it. To facilitate the difficult (no joking) task of drinking more water, you can buy some cool bottle to carry with you — a Water Bobble filter liquid, for example. At worst, you can brew weak herbal teas - everything is better than tea or coffee.
