We tried: Is there any sense in the gadgets for the tonal basis
Text: Catherine Slyadneva
Testing cosmetics on animals is bad - but no one forbade it. Fearless experimenter and author of the channel "Beauty for 300" regularly checks for professional fitness and strength unusual (read: strange) news from the industry.
Before announcing the rubric in social networks, I suggested to subscribers in instagram to guess what tools I would test. Among the answers were those from which the hair stood on end, and the nerves hardened by comments threatened to surrender - for example, vibrosponzh. Well, vibro is so vibro - apart from it today, silicone sponges from different manufacturers and an oval MAC Oval 6 brush, which readers gently call a "spoon", will undergo a test of strength. In the role of foundation - Studio Studio Fix Fluid MAC, which, according to experts and experts, is easy to apply without ingenious devices. Before each approach, I cleaned the skin and applied the base - an excellent inexpensive Art Visage illuminator.
I started with the very "spoon". The first thing I thought when brushing the tonalist with a brush: "My God, the face has never been so nice!" The brush is really very good: it almost does not absorb the tonal tool due to the artificial pile and blends it with a thin layer, even in poor advertising, in the most inaccessible places. The bristles are soft, making the process more pleasant. The result: the tone is even, the coating is very thin and barely noticeable, no “mask effect”, the application took about a minute and a half.
Silicone sponges followed. Find them easier: now this beauty innovation is at a very different price in all cosmetic supermarkets. I took the most accessible devices "L'Etoile" and Essence. The first impression is that they are very unusual to the touch, after all, the texture of ordinary sponge is soft and pleasant. Silicone is cold and nasty, and it seems that you are dragging someone else’s implant or sponge for washing the glass over your cheeks. To shade a tonal means with them is a dubious pleasure, but the process went surprisingly fast and, pardon the pun, smoothly. Nevertheless, the coating turned out to be too dense and lay spotted on the most prominent places: sponge cannot cope with feathering. And only in the area around the lower eyelid, this approach worked - there is a dense coating that looks organically and covers the bruises. I spent two or three minutes on the application, because I had to fight with the nasolabs, chin and centuries: just imagine that you are painted with jellyfish just caught in the sea.
The bristles of the "spoon" are soft, making the process of applying the tone only more pleasant.
The highlight of the program is vibro sponge for applying make-up, or, as reported by shops selling dubious things, the Korean miracle YesMay; magically the excitement around this device passed by me. If you are too lazy to wait for a parcel from China, you will have to pay a little more than a thousand rubles per unit in local online stores. When you turn, the sponge begins to vibrate and buzz furiously, and it seems to work: the foundation has lain perfectly and so quickly that it seems that you can now get up to work later. I thought that around this device there would be those still dances with a tambourine, but no: the tone was perfectly distributed around the nose and on the wings, on the chin and lower eyelid. Difficulties were only with the upper century, but I think this is a matter of habit and skill. It took about thirty to forty seconds to apply - is this even legal?
Surprisingly, all three strange and unusual tools for applying foundation showed themselves well. The leader of this amateur rating was the soft brush of MAS Oval 6: the feathering took a little longer than with the vibrosponge, but the sensations were much more pleasant. It is easier to clean it than foam sponge, and the batteries do not need to be changed - I am for ease of use. In second place is a vibrosponzh: quickly, unusually, very smoothly, thinly and smoothly (although I thought that it would break even at the stage of unpacking). Silicone sponges of various sizes became outsiders: a strange and incomprehensible thing for me. Yes, it is easy to clean them, but it is unpleasant to paint them.
