How Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange fell out
At the beginning of the week, it seems, all the news portals circled the video from the surveillance camera, in which Solange pounces on her sister Beyonce's husband, Jay Z, in the hotel elevator the night after the Metropolitan Ball. In the video, Solange beats up with Jay Z (even her shoes and bag go) and shouts something to him all the time (video is shot without sound), breaks out of the guard’s hands, while Beyonce basically stands in the corner and tries only slightly protect the husband.
"They are just like us!" - happily exclaimed the Internet and began to build theories about what angered Solange. The Science of Us blog even ran a poll among a hundred New Yorkers about what Jay Zee did wrong. Among the answers were, for example, "She was freaking out," "Jay Z did not like her outfit," and even "J Z was mistakenly sent a sex message to the wrong sister." In the meantime, theories are being developed in the press that the cause of the conflict could be the reasons for the quarreling of mere mortals: the ex-girlfriend Jay Z, who somehow provoked Solange; that the scoundrel Jay Zi wanted to go to Rihanna's after-party without his wife that evening, or that Solange simply got drunk. The text of the prayer, asking to protect from evil influence, added fuel to the fire poured by Beyonce to Instagram on the morning after the incident.
Yesterday, the press flew around the information that Solange removed from her instagram all the photos with her sister, except for one. Our colleagues from BuzzFeed were not too lazy and created a whole selection of Beyoncé’s photos on Solange’s Instagram, explaining that Solange lives with his son in New Orleans and never had many photos of her sister on her instagram. The picture from the ill-fated night of the Metropolitan Ball was indeed removed from instagram, but it is unknown when exactly it is. Then came the information that Solange and J. Zi saw together in the jewelry. And, probably, in order to finally finish off those who already do not understand, Beyonce posted a series of old photos with her sister to her instagram at once.
On Thursday, Beyonce, Jay Zi and Solange nevertheless made an official statement and, although they did not clarify the situation, made the public understand what they think and feel about the unpleasant situation: "As a result of the publication of recordings from surveillance cameras from Monday, May 5, there are a lot of rumors about what caused the unfortunate incident. But the main thing is that our family coped with it. Jay and Solange are both aware of their share of responsibility for what happened. They both recognize their role in this private event, which has become public . They got angry with each other, and together we moved on like a single family. Rumors that Solange was intoxicated or behaved eccentrically were simply false. In the end, families have problems and we are no different from them. We love each other, and above all we are family. We tried to forget about it and hope that everyone else will do the same. "
Perhaps we will not know what was the real cause of the quarrel. But it seems that when Jay Zee sang the famous "I've got 99 problems, but a bitch ain't one", he did not notice a couple of logs in his eyes.
