I walked around Penhaligon's ironic Victorian fragrances in circles for a long time, wondering how to wear them in order to look like the leading sarcastic London fashion blog, and not the sad old coat. But when you understand this, it is impossible to stop - I already have several aromas in my wish list, it is very beautiful that they behave on the skin. For example, in Lavandula, cold lavender is adjacent to a warm lily of the valley - the smell is so iridescent that you want to feel it all the time.
Christina Fitzgerald Dusty (Lavender) nail polish
Typically, lacquers of this color are called variations of the word lilac, but I love lavender more than lilac, and only Christina Fitzgerald has restored justice. Dusty lacquer, subtitled Lavender, is gray-lavender, light and dense: in two layers it is completely opaque. Like many varnishes of such a texture, it requires a certain care when applying, but not jeweler's skill. Lavender shades of manicure often make the hands look dead - however, not that I thought it was something bad - but Dusty even slightly adorned slightly tanned skin.

I already wrote in a pink selection about Rose in Wonderland from the "modern" collection of the British perfumery brand Atkinsons, and now it is the turn of lavender, which I wear most often: Lavender on the Rocks has become one of my main summer companions. This is a very cold aroma, as it prescribes his name, almost alcoholic - it is especially beautifully revealed, in my opinion, in hot weather, so a small bottle of Lavender on the Rocks has already been with me on two seas and the ocean and behaved very well everywhere .
Burberry Lavender Lip Gloss
In a bottle of this spring novelty, a wonderful pale amethyst hue - of course, it was possible to suspect that there would be no color on the lips. But senseless hopes are my middle name, and I ordered it; the brilliance, of course, turned out to be completely transparent. Naturally, he is still beautiful, and non-sticky, and the Burberry bottles themselves are works of art. But still, would there be a little more pigment for that - and it would be a unique unusual product, and so - just a high-quality transparent lip gloss.
Bath salt "L'Etoile" "Lavender and vanilla"
Last year, the L'Etoile brand launched a very decent (and very large) line of products for the Spa a la Carte body. Of all the variety of flavors, I like “Lavender and vanilla” most of all - this is a classic combination that is read very well, the smell turned out to be bright, but unobtrusive, not cloying, but slightly sweet. I chose bath salt for the selection - because I don’t like them in principle, but I use this one with pleasure: it obviously softens the water, makes it milky and odorous, and wallowing in the bath is not as boring as usual.
Diptyque Eau de Lavande Scent
The recent novelty Diptyque is described on the site as a warm intimate smell, but on me this lavender is strict and detached: a very bright coriander makes it almost bitter. There is no homely touching calm that imagination traditionally associates with lavender - rather, it is a smell for business negotiations: you want to straighten your back and burn with the eyes of your competitors. And it seems to me that Eau de Lavande will suit even the most conservative man - a strict jacket is asking for this smell.
Greenland Lavender and Rosemary Body Butter
I already praised the cheerful Greenland brand for its cheerful tin cans, but the organic series Pure & White, in spite of the fact that it does not have such beautiful packages, also deserves attention. The smell of this oil with lavender and rosemary will appeal even to those who dislike lavender - here it sounds almost imperceptible, rosemary feels much stronger (and this, I must say, makes the aroma more interesting). The oil itself is dense (not dry), I like to apply it immediately after a shower, without wiping, after that you can skimp on moisturizing agents for a few more days.
Shadows of Chanel Lavande
Very beautiful and, unfortunately, discontinued monotenes of fine grinding and delicate lavender color. Due to the translucency and the lightest shimmer, makeup with these shadows turns out to be ephemeral and elvish - I like to apply them to the whole eyelid and do without liner and mascara, emphasizing this effect. The only problem is that the shadows quickly grow dull even on a good base, and only a faint memory remains from them. That, however, does not spoil the concept of elf makeup.
Panpuri Lavender & Vanilla Body Scrub
An interesting scrub of the luxurious Thai-French brand Panpuri. In a viscous, as if waxy, mass, there are hidden exfoliating particles, which at first seem very rare, but when you apply the product and start massaging the skin, the viscous mass melts, and the particles turn out to be very even working. Proper use of the scrub requires overcoming some natural greed: scrub expensive, but if you take a little bit, the effect will not be - but then the skin is polished, and smells in the bathroom, as in a five-star hotel spa.
L'Occitane Lavande Hand Cream
The lavender line is considered one of the most important in the L'Occitane assortment - the famous Provencal brand could not ignore the flower that became the symbol of Provence. L'Occitane's lavender is soft, soft-edged, cozy — so much so that even a psycho like me begins to believe in its soothing properties. Hand cream in a beautiful metal tube is made on the basis of shea butter, it is very nutritious and dense, so I usually use this cream for the night in the winter. At the same time, you can’t call it particularly bold - a rare remedy that is pleasant and convenient to use at any time of the year.
