Gentle linen: Girls about favorite Russian cosmetics
To Russian cosmetics it is often customary to look down upon - for not enough luxurious packaging, fragrances and strange positioning. But we found five girls who were passionate about cosmetics, who replenished their cosmetic bags with Russian-made products - and were very pleased.

Lifting cream "Gentle flax"
Tatyana Yakimova
beauty editor
- When a former beauty director with years of experience comes to an end, the stock of jars, which previously seemed inexhaustible, comes to an end, there is no particular tragedy. On the contrary - to see the bottom of the jar of cream in fact, it turns out, cool! Even cooler - minimize the number of these cans. We're for reasonable consumption, especially when the temptations are over. But I have long had an interest in cosmetics, which makes our people. When you write a million words about a million indie foreign brands, at some point you want yours. And here it turns out that the cool cosmetics of the domestic manufacturer is.
For half a year I sat on Pure Love, which is done by my friend Katya Karpova. Ended the bank - ordered the following. Because like and work. And a week ago I went to the market for coconut sugar and could not resist - I bought the Gentle Flax lifting cream. Even the name did not stop - led on cedar oil in the composition. And she guessed right! Cream originally from Novosibirsk turned out to be honest and correct. In many respects - as if made by my personal order.
Lavender hydrolate in Levrana spray
Sasha Petrova
brand manager
- Over the past few years I have rethought my beauty snobbery - moreover, during this time many cool, working and at the same time inexpensive Russian-made products have appeared on our market. I am particularly pleased that, in addition to HYIP products, you can find unrecognized diamonds - both in Auchan, and in small shops and on the markets.
The oil with peony flowers and bergamot 22 | 11 is mainly used for the body during the cold season, as the composition promises not only to nourish, but also to retain moisture (and does not deceive). I love Sarzhan cuticle oil - I like close to ideal packaging, simple and honest approach, and the smell of mandarin and basil as a bonus. Micellar shampoo "Pure Line" copes well with mild cleansing, does not overdry the scalp and costs literally three pennies. Lavender hydrolate in Levrana spray is used in the summer instead of tonic: it soothes the skin well, and the format is comfortable. I also joined the ranks of Masha Worslav's Organic Kitchen Glass Skin fans - I am already confidently interfering with tonal creams, adding a drop on top of the concealer under my eyes, using it as a cuticle cream. I plan to try other life hacking from Mashin storiz. In general, I am very pleased with the trend of this brand’s klabs with bloggers and makeup artists - I hope the brand does it not only for marketing reasons.
Evgeny Cosmetics Brush
Vasilina Vorobyova
beauty blogger
- Let's be honest: a cosmetic maniac who lives in France rarely feels homesick. Nevertheless, I did not close this question for myself. There are several Russian brands that everyone knows about, but I haven’t reached them yet, alas.
At the same time, I have brushes in my collection, which were conceived and started in Russia, and I have long and warmly recommended them to anyone who might be interested in it at all. I first tried the brush Evgeny Cosmetics. At first glance, this is a story about "expensive-rich", but as soon as they fall into the hands, it becomes clear that this is not a show off. The materials from which they are made are not just good - they are from among the best, and not only the nap (which is the main thing, of course), but also the wood for pens. Such brushes not only work well and serve for a long time - they turn makeup from a routine process into a pleasure. The line, however, quite tiny; if you want to stay on one brush, I would choose the legendary Polina for rouge. There are not many recognized standards among the kistamanyakov, but almost always and everywhere you will see the famous brush for the Suqqu blush. So, I would not give her a palm - she is cool and very soft, but Polina with the same softness turns out to be denser, and it is much more practical if you don’t like spots on your face.
The second brand of brushes - Annbeauty. Like Evgeny, she was created by a make-up artist (you probably remember a dozen of brands that started with the fact that the makeup artist was tired of looking for the perfect tool and decided to take the initiative). The Annbeauty line is much broader than that of Evgeny - there is plenty to choose from, if your requests go beyond the required minimum. The necessary minimum, however, you can also dial there - and this will be a reliable, convenient kit. If you need to choose one thing, then I would stop at the brush for blending shadows A9. I have a whole collection of analogs, from the cheapest to Tom Ford, but Annbeauty is my favorite in all respects. Its price is about the price of luxury brushes like NARS or Dior, but the quality is disproportionately higher.
While writing, my daughter came up to me with a request to open a tube of toothpaste. And I just now remembered that it was Splat, and how glad I was when I saw them at the nearest supermarket, almost like old acquaintances. Constantly I buy only their children's pasta, but I am very warm to the brand and am glad that he managed to achieve success not only in Russia.
Great Trotter Candle
Ksenia Golovanova
perfume critic, author of the telegram channel Nose Republic
- I am a big fan of the Great Trotter scented candles - Julia Chekanova made the brand, in the past the perfume PR specialist of all Russia, journalists still mourn her departure from Esterk Lux. "Trotters" are made from soy wax: when it melts, it turns into a clear liquid, solidifies evenly and does not fade with an ugly hole. But these are the details, the main thing is the inhuman beauty of the fragrance. They are due to the absence of the perfume industry in Russia Chekanova orders in France, in a large company for the production of fragrances and perfume compositions. Now there are about ten candles in the collection, most of all I like Flowers Devotion with a slightly vintage aroma of jasmine, tuberose and carnation (the latter is a rare guest in candle scents). I also like the price: a two hundred gram candle in a tin can cost 900 rubles.
Ink Sergey Naumov
Katya Fedorova
Journalist, Consultant, Founder, Good Morning Channel, Karl
- For a long time I treated Russian cosmetics with great suspicion. Well, we do not have laboratories comparable to those where some Estée Lauder is produced. But over the past year I have tried three products that are now firmly established in my cosmetic bag.
First, the Windsor Soap soap. I love the brand for natural intellectual flavors like lemongrass or bitter orange and for the fact that it does not dry your hands. I don't use any other soap at all. Secondly, Sergey Naumov ink. Seryozha managed to make the perfect mascara for every day: she tints, lengthens and separates the eyelashes, but at the same time there is no heap of dried putty on them. Eyelashes look supernatural, but much better than without mascara. I did not see such an effect from any foreign carcass. The latest discovery is Glass Skin Cream, which makeup artist Masha Vorslav made with Organic Kitchen. I recently woke up on a trip with a hell of a hangover, I realized that I had forgotten a moisturizer, and smeared Glass Skin under the tonic - and then took a long selfie, because I could not believe that in my ghm condition I could look so fresh. It can be applied both under, and on a make-up in those places where you need a slight shine, but without noticeable shine and modulations. It is just the appearance of very healthy skin, as if you were drinking the prescribed liters of water, meditating all day and doing hot yoga, and not singing in karaoke until four in the morning.
