The apple of contention was thrown on his twitter by the editor of the American edition of Maxim Jared Keller. His subscribers immediately entered into a hot discussion, and a picture with two variants of pants scattered across Tumblr, Reddit and Facebook. Now Keller's tweet has more than 30,000 reposts and as many likes.

The administrator of the public who started all this madness, says that he "saw several dogs in his pants and wondered if the dogs should not wear pants on all four legs, because technically they are the same legs."
