Shane Gambill, model

Under the heading "Fresh blood" we present young professionals who have not yet become familiar in the pages of magazines, but will certainly have time to do it in the near future. Our hero today is the fashion model Shane Gambill with outstanding tattoos, rockabilly appearance, already lit up in the pages of Nylon magazine, Opening Ceremony lookbook and Lanvin show.

Shane Gambill was born in America, and it is not surprising that almost all European nations are bleeding in his veins. The young man was not very eager to enter the modeling business, but one of his acquaintances found photos of Shane on Facebook and sent him to all possible agencies, as a result, Gambill himself could choose with whom to work. As a result, Gambill stuck to the young model agency Adam, with whom he still collaborates.

Take a look at Shane: it is immediately clear that the guy with the shaved temples and the tattoos on his chest and arms will attract first of all the attention of independent publications. And so it happened: his photos appeared in Bullett, Inked and Huge, and at the shooting of the young man’s lookbook he was invited by the Los Angeles duo of Opening Ceremony. In addition, Elle and Nylon commercial magazines shot it for their new issues. Note that Gambill seems to be a suitable hero for i-D, who work with guys like him in spirit like Yuri Pleskun. And we would not be surprised if one day he replaced teenage skaters in the filming of Russian designer Gosha Rubchinsky.

Shane made his debut at the 2011 Carlos Campos presentation in New York. At the FW 2012 season shows, he flew to Tokyo - the traditional platform for beginner models, where he opened and closed the Phenomenon show, and by the SS 2013 season he reached Paris. There, a young man walked on Lanvin, which is quite natural: French brand designers Albert Elbaz and Lucas Ossendreyver love new faces that look like rockers. So far, participation in the Lanvin show is his only serious catwalk work, but thanks to backstage photos showing all of Gumbill's tattoos, his photos replicated dozens of times in Tumblr.

Shane Gambill likes not only professional photographers: for his blog Citizen Couture, he was filmed by the hero of our City Looks column Jason Gene. In his free time, a young man loves to just go to the koncery (his favorite music is punk and hardcore of the 1980s) and watch movies. By the way, if you meet him somewhere in New York, you should know: Shane's favorite topics of conversation are UFOs and paranormal phenomena.
