WONDERZINE talks about beautiful, functional or strange things that you want to buy immediately.
There is a category of magazines similar to art objects. These include the French SOME / THINGS. From the magazine, the publication has only seriality: in form and content it is closer to the art album. In each issue of SOME / THINGS - four hundred pages wrapped in leather or plastic, and they weigh more than three kilograms. The sixth and so far the last issue of The Dark Labyrinth magazine includes materials about Alber Elbaz and Dries Van Noten, but modern avant-garde artists remain in his style - like the German-Persian designer Boris Bidzhan Saberi Mohaddam Teherani, who not only appeared on the pages of the publication, but also created an ideal in size and volume bag for storing SOME / THINGS. This is not the only collaboration of the magazine with designers: its fifth issue was wrapped in Rick Owens cashmere and impregnated with the fragrance of the brand, which has not yet seen the light. Other contributors to the sixth edition were architect Claude Paren and artist Sid Meade, photographer Mick Rock, who took black and white images of David Bowie, and researcher of the three-dimensional space Hideaki Uchiyama. The circulation is 3,000 copies, and each of them is manually numbered. In addition to the magazine project SOME / THINGS includes the same name agency, gallery and shop.
