Designer Dasha Khoreva examines her O-l-o-v-o jewelry brand through the prism of modern art. In the future, she would like to exhibit her pendants, bracelets and rings as installations, to make them unbearable. In the meantime, they are completely understandable even to those for whom decorations are merely decorations. Dasha uses a variety of different materials, but still prefers natural materials: wood, stones — both natively (pebbles or pieces of granite from the pavement) and semi-precious (corals), as well as expanded clay, pine cones, nuts, shells, wool, bark, stones. , animal teeth and even coal.

All the decorations that I create are my feelings and feelings, passed through this or that material. I never know what I will do in the end, I don’t draw sketches, I don’t think that it would be more popular now. Everything depends only on the material: I pick up wooden sticks or stones in the forest and on the street, then take them in my hands, and, however strange it may sound, they themselves dictate all further movements. And only on how nature created them and on how I can feel it, how the thing will turn out.

I am a non-professional jeweler and I do not deny that I have no education in this area. Basically, all brands of jewelry tend to work with noble, expensive metals - gold, silver, platinum. I, like an alchemist, melt tin - this is an extraordinary material that gives complete freedom of expression.

I do not want to close on the status of "jewelry designer" because there is something behind every item in my collections, these are things with history. Almost all my decorations are individual, most of them can not be repeated - nature will no longer create a second such shell, and how not break off pieces of asphalt, and just the same will not break off. At the same time, everything I created is united by a single attitude and atmosphere: my collections are integral. I strive to recreate, visualize my inner world, where jewelry becomes only a part, which can be removed from this space and carried with me, on the neck or on the finger.
