And now small tattoos have a chance to win nail art - at least, the American pop-up studio Needle Nails sees this as the future of your nails.

The trend has been on instagram for two or three months and is not going to lose ground. In general, the fact of the existence of tattoos on any parts of the body is difficult to surprise, but Needle Nails nail studio, for the first time, seems to have tried to become a special place where you can come for a tattoo on the nail (or all at once). The idea was liked by many, and now giants like Vogue are interested in new fashion: the idea sounds at least interesting, and the result in the black-and-white instagram of the studio looks original, not frightening. The creators of the new service are Amby Stapleton and Christian Boyd. Stapleton has ten years of experience as a buyer and director of stores, Rick Owens, it’s not surprising that in her own business she focuses on modern minimalism. Inspiration and the bomb, which provided a further explosion in instagram, was the work of the star tattoo artist Minimalist Jonboy.
The first work of the studio was lettering "LOVE", and now it offers many types of patterns, from the mysterious Morse code to the popular arrows and hearts - but these are invariably tiny simple drawings inscribed into the perfect composition. It is not excluded that the trend is viable not only in instagram and will step beyond the limits of one salon even in the form of translated tattoos or stickers - in the end, we are used to cuticle tattoos.

In addition, as the creators of Needle Nails explain, such tattoos are virtually painless compared to drawings on any other parts of the body: the paint is not poured under the skin, but into the nail plate. Another plus: the tattoo manicure will live on the nails for about six months - enough to not regret too much or continue to experiment without a twinge of conscience.
The main thing that the masters are warning about: in order to test this relatively new trend, you will have to carefully search for a specialist who already has experience in creating drawings on the nails. According to Jonboy, the master is most difficult to work with because of the small area and unusually hard surface of the nail, and for a good composition is important and the thickness of the lines, and the ability of the master to harmoniously place the picture. With proper accuracy and compliance with the usual for tattooing hygiene with patterns on the nails, there should be no problems: the horny layer of the nail is prone to injury much less than the skin.
