To whom to subscribe: Grandfather, who draws for his grandchildren

CONTINUE TO TELL about decent accounts in social networks through which you can view the whole world.

Chan Chan, 75, lives in Brazil, where his family moved from Korea more than thirty years ago. A few years ago, his son, Ji Li, moved to New York, and his daughter, along with her husband and two children, returned to Korea. Zhi says that when the family was still living together, his father spent a lot of time with his grandchildren and drove them to school every day - and after they left, his life was empty.

Zhi decided to find a new occupation for him and remembered that when he was a child, Chang Chang often drew for him - and suggested to his father that he should do it again and post drawings on instagram. Chhan Che did not like the idea - he could not use the social network. Then, when Zhi had a son, he had another idea: he offered his father to draw stories for his own grandchildren. So the account @drawings_for_my_grandchildren appeared: every day Chang Chae makes a new drawing. His wife invents signatures for them - small stories that children translate from Korean into English and Portuguese.

Chan Chan draws portraits of his grandchildren, important events, animals, something that seems interesting to him, and also tries to tell his heirs about Korean traditions. At the end of last year, Ji Li published a video on his family’s history on Facebook - after that, Chang Chang had more than 200,000 subscribers.
