Mini dress
The last big mini return was in the 2000s - in tenths, the midi or maxi length appeared on the podium more often. Of course, the time has come for a change - at the Fashion Week in Paris, short models flashed every now and again: mini evening dresses, tight-fitting figures, showed Balenciaga and Balmain; an option for a relaxed holiday on the coast - Chanel, and futuristic models - Louis Vuitton.
Historicism
Elements of the medieval costume excite the minds of designers more and more. Dresses in Paris Fashion Week periodically forced us to recall historical characters like Joan of Arc: here you can find leather, chain mail, and even corsets. The trend was most noticeable in the Alexander McQueen collection: leather and satin dresses were decorated with medieval embroidery. Options a little less obvious showed Chloé and Hermès.
Glitter and sequins
Usually, sparkling outfits appear everywhere closer to Christmas, but at the Paris Fashion Week, designers suggested not to abandon the festive mood all year round. So, shiny blazers appeared on the Balmain show, dresses - Celine, and luxurious jumpsuits - Stella McCartney. In favor of a neat patch of glitter made the choice of Dior and Chanel.
Unusual hats
In the summer it is important to protect the head from the sun - and the French do not forget about it. In the next season, designers offer to do it with a straw hat: fringed boaters, like at the Chanel show, or the classic model, like John Galliano. Wide-brimmed multi-colored hats appeared in the Gucci collection, and futuristic hats were presented by Louis Vuitton.
Boho Dresses
The 70s, with their palette of natural colors and recognizable style, will return in the coming season - the main object of desire is the boho dress. Flying options below the knee length appeared on the shows Chloé, Loewe and Paco Rabanne: someone made a choice in favor of ethnic prints, and someone - patchwork. In Dior and Elie Saab, the trend was supported by colorful chiffon floor-length dresses.
Black and white gamma
Next spring, it is proposed to adapt the trend for b / w by using the image of different things in color or with the help of prints. The unremarkable color combinations could be seen at the Ann Demeulemeester and Saint Laurent show, and unusual abstract prints from Balmain.
Overhead shoulders
Paris officially confirmed that next spring we will travel again in the 80s. This time, it is worth giving thanks to the main trend of the era - overhead shoulders, as if from Thierry Mugler's archived shows. The main imitator of this season was Olivier Rusten, who presented futuristic jackets and dresses. Balenciaga, who in many ways set the fashion for such a silhouette in the 2010s, again showed costumes and cloaks with an exaggeratedly broad line of shoulders, and Celine and Elie Saab - dresses like those of pop artists of that era.
Grid
The trend on the grid declared itself at the Paris Fashion Week: gothic dresses of transparent fabric are seen at the Christian Dior show, and futuristic options in white and metallic - in the spring collection of Louis Vuitton. Models of dresses from large knitted mesh appeared on the show Sonia Rykiel.
