Too heavy: How to finally rise after the holidays

How are you doing, nothing or hard? It would seem that on the fifth day after the seals start working, the holiday mode should finally be forgotten, but the body stubbornly refuses to enter into a normal rhythm. We understand what difficulties are most often faced after a long rest, and suggest ways to eliminate them.

Start doing exercise

If you regularly train in the gym, then now is the most fertile time for the resumption of classes - fitness centers are empty, so all the simulators will be free, and in group classes you will not have to huddle in the corner. If you have long wanted to try some new section, but were embarrassed to look clumsy among regular visitors, now is the same time to try. But you can play sports, of course, both at home and on the street. Your favorite video tutorials are suitable for charging, you can choose the lightest one of them - your task now is to remind the muscles that they need to wake up and get some free endorphins, and not squeeze a record weight bar after a week of lying.

Take away fast carbohydrates

Was Olivier? Chocolates? Sandwiches with caviar? These are all fast carbohydrates, which, although they give an instant surge of energy, but only an hour or two - after that you want to sleep even more than before. Getting off this needle is not easy, but possible. It is best to do it gradually: it is clear that it is better to eat one "kinder chocolate" than five, but at the same time it is better to eat three of them than later, having broken off, empty the whole vase of sweets and promise yourself tomorrow to go on a diet. By the way, do not need any diets: after a week of kindling the body with everything that is possible, the boiled breast will not be a detox, but stress. However, starting to lean on proteins and reduce the amount of useless fats is a good idea.

Forget the weekend routine

If the first post-holiday week all swinging and the authorities can forgive you for not too productive work, then the second will fairly become more demanding. So over the next two weekends you need to get in shape. It is best to emerge from those routine tasks with which you coped with these five days in a sin, and to spend the weekend diametrically opposed. If you have to communicate with people non-stop, turn off instant messengers and stick to a video game. If you are sick of the gadgets, go for a walk, to visit or take them yourself: cooking even plain food will relieve your head, but you can even get by baking cake alone. And if you ask your friends to bring a dog with you, efforts will be reimbursed a hundredfold and everyone will understand if you gracefully fall on the sofa with a furry companion at your side.

Learn new makeup trick

Make-up is one of the cheapest ways to cheer up and cheer up in any situation, and it is certainly safe (and does not cause a hangover). Weekend - the perfect time to pump your skills in this area. Have you always wanted to learn how to draw wide eyebrows? Or in the new year you want to go with freckles? It is unlikely that it will take more than an hour or two to master a new technique, but imagine that after that you will not be able to load your head all the year round with how to make up a party or what hairstyle to make under a hat or cap. Sleep well and in moderation

Perhaps the most difficult thing after the holidays is to establish a daily routine. Some prefer to drink melatonin, but sleep after it is often restless and does not help to relax. It is better to try to enter the rut without pills. Before going to bed, it is better to stop using the phone and laptop for an hour or two - the screen lighting irritates the nervous system. It is best to read paper books too, although a Kindle or a night reading mode in the reader application is also suitable. If you don’t know what to do before you go to bed, here are a few suggestions: to tidy up the apartment, take a bath, tweet with a friend (just don’t indulge in heated emotional discussions, after which thoughts jump into my head at a gallop). And yes, get an alarm clock for the morning: scientists have long said that it is not useful to sleep on the weekends, so it would be most reasonable to lie down no later than two and get up no later than nine.

Do not drink much

Everyone's favorite glass of red wine for the night on holidays usually turns into a bottle. In the highest-quality alcohol, there is nothing bad, but for sure you have already given him his due on a long vacation. Besides the fact that you spend the precious hours of this Saturday on a headache and exhaustion, you will worsen the quality of sleep: in a state of intoxication sleep is not deep, and therefore you will not really rest. There is still a whole summer ahead when you can drink without the risk of frostbite and without a tiring taxi ride on a snowy road. In short, the winter time is a cozy rest, and non-alcoholic mulled wine tastes no worse than alcoholic.

Buy nice winter clothes

We do not like winter in many respects due to clumsy penguins having to move from one warm building to another. Of course, you can’t get away from the cold, but you can cheer yourself up with a beautiful down jacket, when looking at which you don’t remember the night watch, but at least the pacifying landscape from the Moncler lookbook (you can even wear a colorful summer dress). If the new down jacket is not needed, there is an option to purchase a bright hat or funny mittens with fur. Yes, even the leggings - the main thing is that associations with going out into the street should be diluted with something else besides an unequal battle with the elements.

Add an incentive to appear in the office

No matter how you spend your weekend productively, you will have to return to the office. That it was not so painfully painful, think up one more reason to come to work - a pleasant one. Order on Monday delivery of useful stuff - for example, just such an ironic mug that will lift your spirits every time you take a queue at the coffee machine (besides, it will help to avoid idle conversations). Or arrange with a colleague to go to dinner at a new cafe nearby. And at lunchtime you can contact your best friend on face-to-face - if you do a digital detox over the weekend, you probably have something to tell each other, and talking on the phone, as we found out, allows you to strengthen the relationship.
