Je Suis Satisfaction: Why you need a flash mob in support of cadets

Probably, the first Russian Love Parade was supposed to be that way.. A video merged into a network in which cadets of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation (UIGA), stripped down to their underwear and uniform forage caps, are dancing to Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction" track, scored several million views. The leadership of the university categorically condemned the video as "mockery of the industry." If you believe the statement of the Ulyanovsk Governor Morozov, the behavior of the authors of the video will now be considered by a special commission of representatives from the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency.
Meanwhile, a flash mob in support of UIGA cadets is spreading all over the country: students of the Ryazanov agricultural engineering school of the same Ulyanovsk region, students of Dimitrovgrad medical and cadets of the Emergencies Ministry have already posted their dances in Benassi, and this is just a prelude. The soundtrack is changing, the idea remains.
In principle, a hypocritical attitude to what is happening behind closed doors in Russia will not be a surprise to anyone. Any hints of the emancipation of the body in our society are still taboo, which is why the talk about the "new puritanism" looks especially ridiculous: here the old one has not yet disappeared. Candid dances to the camera - it can be pop stars, but not neighbors in the stairwell. And there is nothing surprising in the fact that a short circuit occurred exactly where external respectability was taken to be observed very carefully - according to the charter.
The charter by the charter, and its violation - if dancing in a cap can be regarded as such at all - one cannot completely shut one's eyes. But if you call a spade a spade, in a matter of days, UIGA received the best advertisement in its entire history. Now we know that there is such an institution where future pilots are not without a sense of humor and know how to spend their free time fun. And do not be the leaders of the university are so concerned about the glossy image of the heroic pilot, in whose polished metal plate the sun is reflected, they would easily have turned this case in their favor. For example, stating that the local cadets outdid the British military, the tracing paper from whose video three years ago, strictly speaking, was the Ulyanovsk "Satisfaction".
Alas, it is possible in some parallel universe, but certainly not in the one where teens are tried for twerk. But even in it, it is impossible to convince everyone without exception that a person who has put on a uniform should live exclusively “from ascent to rebound”, and mature students cannot joke to shoot dances for the camera, on which vigilant moralists will label Homoerotic and BDSM . Or worse, "sex." This word still needs to be uttered in a whisper.
And because of the unfolding flash mob support for UIGA cadets, the best thing that could happen after tough statements and demands to “give a belt” to young men who, in general, did not do anything that their peers throughout the country would not do (even if it doesn’t walls of popular public tables). This is “Je Suis ...”, which should gradually become the standard form of response to bloated accusations of immorality. This is the very rejuvenation of the protest - not only by age, but also by filing (through remakes on youtube) - that was talked about so much in the previous year. This is solidarity, which is beginning to take real shape. Finally, this is just very funny.
Now it’s hardly worth worrying about the cadets themselves: the Ulyanovsk governor already realized that the demonstrative spanking was taking on unhealthy proportions and called for the disciplined students to “not ruin their lives”. Most likely, the case will be limited to severe reprimand and will be forgotten by the end of the week. But the fact that thousands of their compatriots are ready to intervene for strangers - and as yet unknown - people, the speed of reaction and the chosen method are certainly encouraging. Laughter is generally an excellent remedy for mentor pathos, non-obligatory morals and too serious facial expressions, with which, as is well known, all nonsense are done.
