Last week at Refinery29 came the news with the best heading in the world (we dream of writing only such): "Lisa Frank Clothing! Lisa Frank Clothing! Lisa Frank Clothing!". It’s not so easy to understand the editors' delight - who Lisa Frank is obviously not required to explain in the States, but not in Russia. On the other hand, the clothing line itself, even without context, causes exactly the same seizure condition. Unicorns, rainbows, tigers, pink, blue, yellow, candies, pink again, tiger cubs again, AAAA - and everything is like from school canisters from childhood (especially if you had it in the 90s).

This is the solution: Lisa Frank is the founder of the brand of the same name and a graduate of art college, who rose in the late 80s on unrestrained stickers, such pop psychedelia for the youngest. In the 90s, under the brand of Lisa Frank, which turned into a multi-million empire, they began to produce everything for American schoolchildren (see the 1993 clip with the participation of little Mila Kunis): backpacks, pencil cases, erasers, phlomsiki. In general, what youngsters from post-Soviet Russia dreamed about in their sleep and reality. The generation of the 90s has grown, but it has not parted with a dream, as evidenced by at least the popularity of stickers. It’s just the right time not to refuse anything and to buy everything from Lisa Frank whatever your heart desires. Fortunately, we live in a time when a sweatshirt with kittens in roses or leggings with dolphins in the rainbow ocean can be safely worn at thirty. And, well, separately, we advise you to take a look at the brand's instagram - believe me, you have never seen anything like this, it’s a ready candidate to our “To subscribe to” column.
