In the past few days, there was a lot of talk about the pre-autumn collection of Chanel, dedicated to Bombay (Lagerfeld insists on the old name of the current Mumbai). To participate in the show, the designer invited girls with Indian appearance, their non-replaceable muses Stella Tennant, Emelin Valad, Anja Rubik, Batista Giaabikoni, Saskia de Brau and several newcomers. One of them was Melissa Stasyuk, who appeared on the podium twice. When you first look at a girl from Argentina, Lagerfeld’s choice becomes obvious: someone calls her an exact copy of Freya Behi Eriksen, some attribute the features of Arizona Muse.
About a year ago, Melissa, who works with Lo Management in Argentina, attached herself to the Milan branch of Women. Before entering Chanel, Stasiuk had no experience on the catwalk, but she managed to play for Black magazines, Argentinean Harper's Bazaar and Elle. Now Melissa, in addition to Lo and Women, collaborates with Next in New York and FM in London.
