Healthy habits of the first racket of Russia Svetlana Kuznetsova
IN RUBRIC "LIFESTYLE" we ask different people about healthy lifestyles with a human face: we talk about the importance of taking care of yourself and pleasant ways to make life more comfortable. The heroine of the new release is tennis player, ninth racket of the world, Russia's first racket, winner of two Grand Slam singles tournaments Svetlana Kuznetsova.
Wellbeing - is to sleep for seven or eight hours, wake up energetic, have breakfast with healthy products and calmly work out your business. I start the day like most people do - wash my face and have breakfast.
I have a difficult training schedule: in the offseason, these are cycles of six days - on Monday and Tuesday there are two workouts, on Wednesday - one long, then it all repeats, and on Sunday is a day off. During the tournament I have a big load on the competitions themselves, so on the day of the match I try not to overwork myself in advance.
I love to trainI love variety, work on different elements. Perhaps, I prefer the court rather than general physical training - I think it is being worked out on the court too. Often there is not enough time to recover - and I don’t really like it, I try to lengthen it whenever possible.
I was born in a family of athletes - and knew that I would play sports, there were no other options, by and large. Dad - a cycling coach, but at that time he had only a men's team, and where we lived, there were a lot of courts - and they gave me to play tennis. At first I didn’t love him too much, but then I got a taste.
At 14 I moved to Spain; it was hard - another mentality, another language. But I quickly began to understand him and after a year she spoke well. I especially had no friends, because most of the time they took training. Mom, of course, visited, but part of the time I was alone. Independence makes you stronger, you grow faster, because you have to rely only on yourself.
It happens that I get very tireddon't want anything Then you need to relax, rejuvenate and rejuvenate. No matter how I joked, I never want to quit everything - I really love my job.
Complexes are probably all - and most of them come from childhood. Any experience leaves its mark and makes itself felt. I try to work on many problems, but I have already coped with some. It is bad that sometimes athletes experience very strong pressure from coaches, parents or peers who criticize their appearance: many, having ended a career in sports, remain with deep psychological wounds.
I think that God or the Universe gave us a certain appearance, its beauty, and it is very important not to lose it, not to try to become like others.
APPEARANCE AND BODY - this is important, even if the appearance is not in the first place. Of course, on the court, the main thing for me is the result, so when I cut off the hair that was disturbing during the match, I did not think about beauty. Then it was a pity, I was worried for a long time, but it turned out great - such an unexpected act.
Periodically I ruin myselfthat I do not modify in training, I train less than necessary. Sometimes, on the contrary, that I overreact - I am my strictest critic.
A SPORTSMAN SHOULD BE PSYCHOLOGICALLY STRONG - Especially now, when some people seem to realize themselves exclusively in negative comments. Yes, under each photo of Serena Williams someone will write that she is “fat” - but I think that envious people are doing this. In tennis there are no weight categories, and everyone knows in what weight he trains and works most effectively. Serena, perhaps, is unique in that it is so large - and this did not prevent her from becoming the first racket of the world and a respected athlete. For me, she is one of the greatest in history.
As for food, Moderation and restraint are important. I eat several times a day, little by little. I try not to use a lot of sweet and flour, especially at night - and I don’t see anything bad in a couple glasses of wine. Unfortunately, even coaches sometimes forget that health is more important, make girls lose weight, forbid to eat - and then they break down and throw themselves on sweets at night. There were cases when trainers in the guise of vitamins were given some kind of diet pills. Diets are dangerous, as well as any extremes.
I sleep well when I'm not very tired. If I have exhaustion, then it is very difficult to fall asleep - and then during the day I feel bad.
I have a habit of recycling - sometimes I get a lot of inspiration at training, I work too hard, and then I have to recover for a very long time. The fact that I do not like cooling baths also bothers me: they are useful for recovery, but I hate to freeze and cannot force myself to apply ice to a bruise or lie in cold water.
I do not believe in taking vitamins - but I don’t need them in particular; I, fortunately, have no injuries, I am a healthy person.
Age is just a figure. The point is not the number of years, but in the experience and conclusions that we draw. I am very comfortable now, I believe that thirty is the best age when you already understand something in life.
At competitions I try to relax in the room., read, watch TV shows, do not tire yourself. I love to walk or see something in the city, but unfortunately, walking can quickly start to hurt back - this is a typical problem of tennis players. At home I have my favorite cafes, and I also love walking the dog and sitting down with friends.
Harmony with oneself is most important. It is necessary not to listen to the outside world, to feel comfort in your body, to work on what is not comfortable. Be angry, be kinder, avoid negative emotions. When you give a positive to others, it becomes easier and brighter to live.
