What you need to know about cosmetics and makeup Kryolan
IN RUBRIC "HOW TO COLLECT THE COSMETIC" We talk about interesting cosmetics - cheap, expensive, rare, beloved by makeup artists and bloggers, suitable for simple and complex makeup - and accessories for it.
If you have ever been to a cosmetics exhibition like Intersharm or Make Up Days, you probably noticed models painted in the best traditions of horror films or, at least, Comic-Con. This is almost certainly the work of Kryolan make-up artists. This German brand is familiar to all employees of the theater and cinema, but is equally respected by makeup artists. The reason is simple: Kryolan has everything - that is, everything is generally - for work on the set, for shows and for "client" make-ups, the prices for the funds are low, and the quality is proportionate.
Kryolan was founded in 1945 by a chemist and a big fan of the theater Arnold Langer - after the war he was able to start producing not only the necessary hygiene items, but also theatrical cosmetics. The first tools were designed specifically for the scene, but over 60 years of hard-working chemists created more than 16 thousand tools in 750 shades and textures, including for everyday use. Surprisingly, Kryolan manages to keep the funds comfortable to wear, even if it is a dense concealer (this is how the author of the text in two accounts gave the dummy’s head a more or less human appearance).
Going to the Kryolan store right before Halloween or another party is the right decision. There are colored varnishes and mascara for hair, rainbow glitters, lipsticks of all shades, the brightest shadows and blusher. The special love of make-up artists is an akvagrim, which is easily washed off and is suitable for non-ordinary make-up; it is sold in all imaginable colors and volumes. He recalls matte finish, like gouache, so when you want to add shine, you should choose fat-based pigments - working with it is no more difficult than with creamy shadows that all lovers of cosmetics had to practice with during their expansion . If blue lipstick and green hair are in your comfort zone, Kryolan has colored lenses, fluorescent cosmetics, artificial blood and even plastic makeup - well, suddenly you want to stick your cheekbones like Maleficent.
You can buy Kryolan in the official online store or in one of the stores in the city. The prices, as we mentioned, are quite elevating: a small portion of face painting costs less than 500 rubles, a cleaner for brushes — too, and a whole palette of lipsticks — 1600.
