And immediately drank: Cosmetics based on alcoholic beverages

AUTHOR BLOG Fierce & Cute Moore Soboleva once a week makes for us a thematic selection of products from his extensive collection of cosmetics. This time, she remembered varnishes, fragrances and decorative cosmetics with an alcoholic leitmotif - they, of course, do not get drunk, but they set the mood.

Orly Mint Mojito Nail Polish

Despite the fact that my favorite mojito cocktail is not green, the persistent cosmetic romantics assign all shades of emerald to this beautiful (and transparent) summer drink. The fervent lacquer of Orly is more like the color of fresh grass than mint with rum in a glass, but the name is beautiful.

TokyoMilk Gin & Rosewater fragrance

The ironic-maiden brand TokyoMilk produces fragrances, candles, hand creams, lip balms and postcards - everything is beautiful, non-banal and without excessive sweetness. The brand has more original pieces, but somehow I immediately liked the scent of Gin & Rosewater most of all - a clear delicate mix of coniferous smell, which is replaced by citrus bitterness, and rose water.

Eyeliner Lise Watier Cognac

The Canadian brand Lise Watier, as far as I know, has long left Russia, but at one time it was sold in one of the largest networks. Then I was struck in the heart of the eyeliner with spangles, rare in our forests. I managed to buy three: two bright and one noble shade of Cognac, combining bronze and golden glitter. Now I have found them and spread them with sealer - and they are ready for new feats.

Demeter Martini fragrance

At the moment - my favorite fragrance from the library Demeter, and it seems to be one of the most complex. The creators say they wanted to recreate a classic cocktail - gin and dry martini with olive - and they did it, judging by the fact that the girls complain about MakeupAlley about excessive, so to say, naturalistic aroma. And I like it very much - a combination of dry alcohol, spicy heat and general amusement.

Urban Decay Whiskey Eye Pencil

This dark brown pencil first came out as a half of a two-way liner (the second end was a black Zero pencil), and then later on its own. A good everyday shade without sparkles in the formula, which I consider the best in the world in its category - in combination with Zero, this double-sided pencil will be the best gift for lovers of relaxing make-up.

Flavor By Kilian Taste Of Heaven Absinthe Verte

Not quite fair inclusion in the selection - Absinthe Verte is not the name, but only the subtitle of the A Taste of Heaven fragrance. But I really wanted to turn it on: firstly, it really smells like wormwood and burnt sugar, and secondly, I literally rave about this fragrance for several years. Like everything in By Kilian, A Taste of Heaven is a very emotional scent, and it’s easy to overdo it so that your emotions are intrusive. But in reasonable doses, it is enchantingly beautiful.

L'Etoile nail polish Miss Xuxu

I literally applauded the creative idea of my own brand L'Etoile to include in the last year's summer collection a series of varnishes with alcoholic names. Alas, there were only five varnishes, but the undertaking was very promising, especially for our market. I continue to dream of Miss Vodka lacquer, and here let there be Miss Xuxu, named after the strawberry cocktail - a very cute fuchsian-pink shimmer.

Body scrub Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub

I love the Caudalie brand for honest means and the Epicurean approach: the brand professes the philosophy of "wine therapy", and its main ingredient is all sorts of grape components. Body scrub with ground seeds of grapes of the variety "cabernet" exfoliates quite fiercely, as I like, without overdrying the skin due to essential oils. And it smells good with red wine and nuts.

Base makeup Clarins Eclat Minute Champagne

Champagne in our funny world of beauty is valued most of all, firstly, as the most glamorous drink, and secondly, as the name of a delicate beige-golden hue. Of all my "champagne-colored" products, I chose the one I currently love most of all - the base for the Clarins makeup in a Champagne shade. It can be used as a tonal tool, but by itself it is very refreshing and smooths the face.

Aroma Les Liquides Imaginaires Dom Rosa

My new hobby is the French perfume brand Les Liquides Imaginaires, which makes powerful, solemn and dark aromas with a medieval slant, in which you want to think about the eternal (perhaps wearing chains). The brand has a trilogy dedicated to noble alcohol (champagne, wine, port wine); All three flavors are awesome, and Dom Rosa asks for our selection - the smell of pink champagne and a dying flower that weaves around the vine.
