What will be fashionable in six months: 10 trends from London

Summing up shows held as part of London Fashion Week. We already wrote about the next year's trends from New York: bra-tops, T-shirt dresses, knitted items, asymmetry, suede, white suits and tight pants — all of this also appeared on most London shows. In this material, we continue to talk about what will be fashionable in six months, and show 10 more trends from the show, which we will soon adapt to our wardrobe. However, no one bothers to do it right now.

Transparent all

Appearing bare-chested at the presentation of the annual CFDA Awards, Rihanna identified the main trend for the whole next year - transparent things. Designers began to actively include them in the spring of 2014, which we have already written about, but for the next season we completely lost control. Podiums flooded transparent things, through which visible bare chest, stomach and underwear. So, Edward Midham and Benjamin Kirchhoff show transparent tulle dresses, Marques'Almeida - ripped denim with transparent T-shirts and dresses, KTZ wear bra-tops and tight high-waisted underpants. Christopher Kane shows dresses with transparent organza inserts, as well as transparent blouses and tops. Simona Roche from season to season refers to transparent materials, but this time she works with a nude organza from which she sews trench coats and dresses. Young British designers like Molly Goddard adapt such things to life the easiest way by putting on transparent fluffy tutu dresses on top of T-shirts with jeans or shorts.

Thigh incision

Replaced by the gender-neutral autumn season of this year comes sexuality and transparent things only the tip of the iceberg. Stamps one by one decorate the skirts and dresses with a deep slit, opening the hips. Nazir Mazhar shows light midi skirts, exposing the leg, combining them with bra-tops, Marios Schwab create skirts with gabardine fold, inspired by trench coats, Marques'Almeida combine ragged denim skirts with transparent tops.

Bows

We saw enormous twisted bows in the fall at the Katie Hillier and Luela Bartley show for Marc by Marc Jacobs, as well as at the couture show Viktor & Rolf. In the coming year, we should expect bows everywhere: on blouses, dresses, jackets and trousers belts. So, J.W. Anderson decorate knit mini-dresses with leather bows, Jonathan Saunders has huge bows at least half of the items in the collection, and Sibling does release models with grotesque bows on the catwalk.

Things with a fluff

Not the first season we see accessories and things decorated with fur, and they still should pay attention. In the new season there is a fresher idea - things with fluff. So, while Simone Roche adorns the hems of dresses and pointy ballet flats and slippers with fur (with a delay of several seasons after Phoebe Faylo), Ashish Gupta goes further and creates brilliant boudoir sandals on a platform with a fluff. Obviously hit!

Layering

Designers continue to exploit the reception that instantly refers us to the fashion of the 90s: Jonathan Anderson wears tops on thin straps over knitted cardigans, Henry Holland - a T-shirt for a light dress, Topshop Unique - tops for turtlenecks. Ashley Williams shows how to wear long-skate skaters and shirts under dresses and T-shirts. Obviously, the “all the best at once” style returns to us: with the blessing of fashion designers, we can now walk half of our wardrobe at a time.

Terry cloth

Reception to use ignoble "garbage" materials as a fabric for British designers is not at all new - Vivienne Westwood experimented with this. Today, all Britons from Ashish to Nazir Mazhar have learned to see beauty in everyday life. In the new collections Jonathan Anderson sews mini-skirts and cropped tops from terry towels, Meadham Kirchhoff sew terry-jackets. These things, meanwhile, are not only aesthetic in their own way, but also functional: they are not afraid of washing, even at 90 degrees.

Appliques and embroidery

Bright prints and prints are a thing of the past, and brands, one by one, switch to appliqués, patches and embroideries. Mary Katrantzou show shirts and dresses with transparent inserts and fancy embroidery. House of Holland is decorated with jeans, jackets and tops. KTZ is decorated with transparent items, Jonathan Saunders - coats, tops with bows and trousers. Giles create voluminous applications, Peter Pilotto sews pieces of plastic and embroider things with flowers. Ashish Gupta's sweater is decorated with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, and the back of the jacket is decorated with Jesus in sequins. Christopher Caine creates rope-like appliqués, and Simone Rocha puts flowers on transparent objects in the form of ropes.

Stripes

Although in the new season there are still a lot of floral prints, it makes sense to look at striped things. The strips should be mint or rich bright colors, but not b / w, for example pink, yellow, blue. Stamps interpret print in different ways, building a whole geometry on things. Giles create faded costumes and dresses in a milky-pink stripe and duplicate the print on the shoes. Peter Pilotto, on the other hand, works with lush colors and applies a strip diagonally or along an asymmetrical edge. Topshop Unique includes striped tops and leather jackets in the collection, combining them with something plain.
