Slippers are both ambiguous and undervalued. Their reputation is heavily spoiled by generations of ugly slippers, as if Cerberus had met visitors in every Soviet and post-Soviet hallway. The other extreme is represented by soft slippers in the form of a hare, a cub, or another unknown animal: they fit into the wardrobe only complete with self-irony. At the same time, without slippers, legs at home are cold, hard and lonely. Not to mention the dirty heels: this is too reproachful reminder that the floor should be washed more often.

The British Mahabis (sounds like the name of an indie band) offer a decent way out because the British can, in principle, do anything without losing dignity. Their "classic sleepers" are both original and concise, discreet and ironic and, as they say, "combine tradition and innovation." The creators call the “felted gray sneakers in contrasting galoshes“ fundamentally British ”, but any Russian will immediately understand where his legs grow from. You can wear slippers without galoshes (at home) or on the street (with galoshes), plus the color of the mat can be changed according to your mood. For each pair, by default, there is one pair of galoshes of any color, and you can add to the order at least all the seven remaining options - from neutral beige to coral or gold. Slippers themselves are light gray or dark gray, there is also a summer model, two “luxury” and two of the “limitka”. In addition, Mahabis make candles and moleskins suitable for sneakers: in general, they provide comfort.
