FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. The heroine of the new material, Asiya Bareeva, loves to combine different prints and textures and finds tons of jewelry in vintage markets.
I especially do not follow the trends and certainly do not chase fashion. I dress so that I myself was comfortable and fun. Sometimes people negatively react to my appearance, take pictures in the subway or shove a neighbor: like, look what they are! I’m probably really crazy looking from the outside, but it’s not because I want to shock the public (and, frankly, I don’t like people who do it on purpose). I dress to cheer myself up. This can be seen in my wardrobe: it has a lot of bright things, prints and jewelry.

Silk shorts are actually men's, they are so big that you have to tie them with a belt. Under them - breeches made of simple fabric for batik. She found them, even when she studied at the institute.

The dress of my beloved friend, St. Petersburg designer Sanan Hasanov. He is young and super talented. From this year I will study at the Antwerp School of Fine Arts, I am very happy for him.
Almost all the things in my wardrobe are pretty baggy, and this jacket sits like a glove and I still like it. He has a great print (and I love prints), and it is easily fastened with magnets on the front.
The cap was given to me by a friend Sasha Kaminer during the shooting, she gave me a clip-beetle when we traveled in France. I found earrings at a flea market in Barcelona - I had to dig for three hours to dig something. As a result, I found these clips for three euros.
Sneakers gave me Glebushka. When they were completely new and white, I felt like a princess in them.

I consider the dress from the first Mary Katrantzou collection to be a collectible item. Someday, when she reaches even greater heights, selling it for a lot of money. It is great for me, but that's why I like it. It is not sitting in the body, but rather so baggy that I can put shirts under it or even lower it like a skirt.
She bought a shirt in a second in Rome for a euro, although it is of very good silk.
Plain viscose trousers were lining for red velvet bows below. But I wear them just like that and hook it up to everything. They are already in some holes and indecent stains, but it is difficult to part with them.
Shoes are not at all in my style, I bought them more as an art object, I like to look at them, but not to wear them.

This is just a silk cut, I sewed it and made a scarf. I love to wear hats, especially now when I grow hair and my hair length is strange.

The dress was presented to me by my dear friend Tanya Kalinina. She bought it at "Specific" in St. Petersburg, but it is tremendously beautiful. If you look, you will see all the details - gold edging, buttons, prints. Very worthy thing in my collection.
No special stories are connected with my shoes, I can say one thing about these: they are beautiful shoes, but they smell very leather, I would even say murder. They say this is a sign of good skin, but they frighten me with it.

My friend Vera Venediktova found this dress in a vintage flea market, and everyone laughed at her about what a stupid dress she bought. And when I saw him, I just fell in love with him. She gave it to me, and everyone was happy.
Brooch bought in the vintage market. Every time I travel, the first thing I do is find out where flea markets or shops with beautiful decorations are located in this city, and go there.
I like the Bimba & Lola bags and accessories. Relatively inexpensive brand, but quality: they have excellent fittings, good-quality finish.
On the day when I bought these pants, I was in shorts and felt very uncomfortable. Therefore, I went to Zara, found them, thought I would give it to my mother, but for now I'll put it on myself. Skirt found in Parisian second-hand at the bottom of the box. It cost euros, and was made of excellent quality fabric. At that time there was no boom for long colorful skirts, and I liked it. Now I don’t wear it, but I still love it very much.
I bought earrings on the vintage market in Rome, there are very beautiful things there - you can't even call it a flea market.
I saw my shoes in one showroom when I was collecting things for shooting. They stood so lonely in my size. Next was the producer, I asked him for a fee in advance and bought them.
Points from one of my favorite travels with a friend and her family in the Canaries. They have a favorite shop there, in which they always buy glasses, because they are given a discount there. Well, I was harassed as another family member, they did it to me too.
The necklace was presented to me by the photographer Vera Biryukova. She wrote to me on Facebook that she did not know me, but she really wants to give me one thing that she associates with me and sees only on me. She gave it to me, it was very nice. The stone fell out of it when we rode on the roller coaster in Disneyland, I replaced it with white.

Mike in sequins - a gift to my aunt. She lives in Rome, also loves vintage and goes to the market on weekends, where everything is for the euro, and buys things that are not of her size - simply because they seem beautiful to her: she liked the fabric, the accessories or the finishing. Often she leaves them for me, I come and go with such a large load. Velvet pants, by the way, also belonged to her, she gave them to me.

A bag of very nice thin leather, although you can’t tell because of the mother-of-pearl finish. Sanan is very talented, but modest. He did not consider her to be cool, he didn’t even want to give it away, but eventually he said: "If you like her, I will be happy if you wear it."

My first Ann Demeulemeester shoes were presented to me by my gentle friend. I really like her shoes: due to the massive pad, the ankle seems very thin.

A transparent jersey was presented to me by my soulful friend Christina Abdeeva. I took her to wear her for a day, and she said that I could keep her for myself. Or maybe she did not say, maybe I myself decided so.
Skirts are my creation. The one on top with horses is made of the interior fabric of the Spanish company Gastón y Daniela. When I first started making this collection, I knew that I wanted to make it from these fabrics. And even wanted to go to work in this company in order to have access to them. In the end, I myself failed the interview, saying that I do not want to do the interior, but I want to sew (I didn’t think), but I liked the woman working there so much that she made a discount on them.
I call the petticoat porno: it depicts indecent scenes. When I was practicing with Uliana Sergeenko, designer Galya gave me this cut.

The shard in the center was made by designers of the Ananas brand: they lay out every detail of beads and fill them with plastic. The rest is part of my jewelry collection. In all flea markets, I am looking for something of my own: I prefer massive accessories, especially love the golden color.

There was a time when I wore only round glasses. That trip to Rome bought them on the market. They are already five years old.
