"Wikipedia" showed that interested its users in 2014
December is a time for debriefing. This year, Wikipedia has done this for the first time in its entire history. The Internet Encyclopedia released a three-minute video in which it told which articles this year were read, written and edited by its users. The video refers to events in Ukraine, the disappearance and crash of Malaysia Airlines aircraft, the Olympic Games in Sochi, the World Cup held in Brazil, the referendum on the independence of Scotland, the Islamic State group (a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) and Boko Haram, Conchita Wurst, Game of Thrones, 12 Years of Slavery, the Ebola epidemic and much more. According to representatives of Wikipedia, in the past year, users have made to the Internet encyclopedia more than one hundred million edits.
