Sculptor Anastasia Mlinarich on favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week our heroine is sculptor Anastasia Mlinarich.

My style is eclectic: I like to combine different layers, fabrics, textures in clothes. I think that the cinema influenced me the most: after watching some old movie, I always wanted to dress like the main character. I remember seeing “Jeanne d'Arc” by Luc Besson: I was hooked by a vivid opposition of the courageous image of the sensuality of a girl. After that, I learned about the show of Alexander McQueen "Jeanne", which became my favorite.

Along with McQueen, I like Jean-Paul Gotye and Martin Marghel: their clothes and the world around her are not fashion for the sake of consumption, but fashion for the sake of art. I am fascinated by their theatricality, sensuality and lack of boundaries; thanks to them, I realized that the image does not have to follow logic. Now, choosing an outfit, I do not for a moment doubt my decisions and do not think about the opinions of others - this is my vision, and it is unique.

Saint Laurent coat, Chloé dress, R13 boots, Wolford tights

This coat was found by mom in a second in Los Angeles. He has a strict and classic cut under the coat - such a thing will never go out of fashion. A dress from very gentle, almost airy fabric. And I bought shoes in Leform and now I wear them almost every day, they are very comfortable. Their sole is slightly larger than the classic model Dr. Martens, and behind there is a beautiful lightning.

Vintage Kimono, Alexa Chung for Marks & Spencer Dress, Wolford Tights, Vivienne Westwood Shoes

Japanese kimono bought on Clinyankure in Paris - a huge flea market, which occupies a whole district. They sell everything: from points for five euros to antique statues of the XVII century. I don’t remember how I found a store in which I bought a kimono - probably this is fate. It is owned by a colorful woman with a smoky voice, and the shop itself is full of vintage clothes of the XIX and XX centuries. From there it is very difficult to get out - you can not see enough of this beauty.

White dress - from the collection of Alexa Chung for Marks & Spencer. Boots - Queen of the British punk Vivienne Westwood. This is the most popular model of the brand: the shoe accurately follows the shape of the designer's foot.

Vintage jacket, pants of unknown origin, Guidi boots

Leather jacket - the foundation of any wardrobe. This one has a silhouette that emphasizes the figure, and feminine ruffles on the sleeves. The aged skin from which Guidi is made proves that imperfections can turn into virtues.

By Walid dress, Guidi boots, vintage bag

Dress ordered in the showroom By Walid in Paris at Fashion Week. The creator of this brand first collected antique fabrics, and then decided to sew clothes from them; these things and want to touch. Treads from the Moscow concept store Project 3.14.

Le Specs glasses, grandmother's shirt, scarf from Magda Butrym dress, Zara skirt, Guidi boots

Points are reminiscent of Kubrikov's "Lolita". The shirt is the result of the next excavation at the grandmother's closet. She, by the way, is the former chief designer of the House of Models in St. Petersburg. She has a lot of cabinets full of fabrics and clothes in her apartment, and we always change things together. The old boring skirt from Zara had already gone to the bag for sale, but then I accidentally dabbed paint on it - after that I decided to paint it with a can and wear it.

Vintage shirt, Givenchy skirt, vintage petticoats, Stella McCartney sandals

The shirt, skirt and petticoat are also from the Parisian Klinyankur. The underskirt of three layers of lace is made on the basis of a corset, which has already turned a little yellow with old age. I like to combine it with a skirt that is half a century younger.

T-shirt from "Megastil", vintage dress, Massimo Dutti sandals

A transparent t-shirt in the style of an early futuristic Jean-Paul Gautier is a real find, especially for a hundred rubles. Under the vintage dress from America, it looks like hello from the past to the future.

I have in my closet a whole collection of tights for every taste and color.

T-shirt, shirt and pants are from second-hand, Christian Wijnants skirt, Boris Bidjan Saberi sneakers

For me, the essence of fashion is the opportunity to try on different cool images. Even if no one will see it, but you know that if today you put on a T-shirt with the inscription "BRUTAL TRUTH", then you feel like a rocker all day. Boris Bidjan Saberi has very comfortable shoes and cool latest collections.

National Moroccan dress, shirt - a friend's gift, boots R13

She got a transparent shirt from a girlfriend at the summer Vintage Market, where she herself was selling things. The dress hung in the closet for a very long time; it was all in sequins, but I decided to make it minimalist and cut them off in about three hours.

Maison Martin Margiela skirt, Paule Vasseur top, R13 boots

This is a skirt in which you feel great. It is unique both in fabric, and in cut, and in the history of the fashion house. Top found in the second in the center of Paris.

Yves Saint Laurent Vintage Sunglasses

Mom says she bought these glasses twenty years ago in St. Petersburg. I like to imagine how she went to them and super fashionable dresses for Peter and all admired her. I often review family albums, only to admire her outfits. At my age, she looked outrageous, judging by the photos. For example, she had a pink mohawk. Now her style is very feminine and elegant. I was very lucky that my parents always shared my opinion on fashion and art.

Knitted mittens

Mittens bought in the set with the same socks in the transition from a very sweet grandmother. They are warm and pleasant to the touch. These can be found on every Sunday market.

Comme des Garçons bag

Earring - a friend's gift, Rosa Maria Jewelery rings, vintage ring

Vintage bag

A small black bag blends harmoniously into any outfit.

Earring from "Okhotny Ryad"

I constantly lose earrings and am very glad that I have left at least one. I bought it at one of the shops in Okhotny Ryad.

Homemade earring

I have always admired the cartoons of Hayao Miyazaki. Having become older, I fell in love with cult cyberpunk anime of the 80s and 90s - "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell".
