Bookmarks: Online Encyclopedia of Russian Avant-garde

Last week the online encyclopedia of the Russian avant-garde was launched - an electronic guide created on the basis of the three-volume encyclopedia of the Russian avant-garde, which was released in 2014. There are more than 1200 articles on the site, grouped in two sections - “Biographies” and “Theory and History”: here you can read about individual representatives of the avant-garde - Kandinsky, Malevich, Rodchenko and many others - and about its trends and schools. Part of the materials is in the public domain, for the opportunity to read the rest will have to pay: access to one section for five days will cost six hundred rubles, to two - in a thousand; for a year of unlimited use of the site will have to pay 4900 rubles.
The encyclopedia was created with the participation of eighty-eight museums and more than two hundred avant-garde specialists - the authors of the project believe that it is useful not only for those who explore this area, but also for those who just want to prepare for the march to the exhibition.
