How to dress in the style of the 80s: 10 current images

About the 80s recently talked so often and so much that this decade could already have time to burn teeth. And yet the fact remains that more fashionable references for images in the new season are not to be found. And judging by the shows of the autumn-winter season, this trend will remain with us in the following. We tell how to combine things that somehow remind us of the style of the 80s, and at the same time look modern.

Ruffle shirt with midi leopard skirt

The combination of shirts with ruffles, which create additional volume and give things a well-known "elegance", and a leopard skirt - as in the Preen Line lookbook - may seem a little lurid at first glance, but this season the risk is justified. Nevertheless, keep yourself in hand: the kit should not be unnecessary parts.

Such an image, despite some frivolity, is suitable not only for a thematic party: here you can safely flirt with all at once significant elements of the decade - from extreme makeup to voluminous hairstyle and large jewelry. In other cases, the image is better to balance shoes on a flat sole or not very high heels and laconic accessories.

Metallic cloak and sandals

A silver parka or raincoat doesn't seem so practical, unlike traditional khaki or nude models. And yet it is a great alternative, and combined with regular jeans, and elegant dresses. If you decide to add several accents in the style of the 80s to your image - rely on sandals in stones or a textured mini bag with sequins.

Blouse with voluminous shoulders and flared pants with a high waist

We have already written about blouses, dresses and jackets with voluminous shoulders in the best traditions of power dressing. Ideas for combinations with these things can be found in the Céline lookbook or at the Jacquemus show. If you don’t want to stand out from the crowd, the flared trousers with a high waist will be the best companion for such a blouse. As a shoe, you can choose as sneakers, and mules or shoes with a sharp toe.

Top with lettering and fancy jeans

Tops and hoodies with inscriptions and logos - one of the most obvious trends of the season, which to one degree or another relates to the 80th. Among the ironic inscriptions there are serious statements, and even appeals hinting at your citizenship. Whether to use a t-shirt in this capacity is up to you. But if you complement it with cult sneakers, whose silhouette is also from the 80s, and wide fantasy jeans, you get a current and comfortable look for every day.

Fringed mini dress and platform sandals

Surprisingly, but a fact: if you collect an image completely from things created in the 80s in a vintage shop, it will almost certainly look too aggressive for today's realities. Leopard print, bright beads, neon color, broad shoulders, sequins and lame - all these accents work today. The main thing is to combine them correctly. And yet 2017 is about moderation, but not about boredom. This does not mean that the dress with small fringe can be worn only with black boats. Try to combine the fringe with metallic sandals - a normal option for a summer party.

Fluffy sweater and pants, bananas

"Ugly" coarse-knit sweaters are also one of the signs of time that can elevate others. Of course, you can wear such with anything: shorts, mini-skirts or light dresses. Try to combine them with jeans that resemble the silhouette of the famous "bananas". Heels or flat sole - the choice is yours, but we would bet on sandals with sequins.

Bomber and miniskirt

The bomber can be seen in any film about teenagers filmed in the 80s: from "The Breakfast Club" to "Ferris Beuller Takes Off." It can be both neutral black and with an Asian print. Complement it with a miniskirt made of metallic fabric and a belt bag - and attention will be provided.

Blouse with an abstract print and a wide belt

If your childhood was in the Soviet 90s, then you probably remember the blouses and dresses of your mother with an abstract geometric print. These ultrafashionable things for that time in the West were relevant even before this and came to us with some delay. This blouse is good in itself, and if you want to add another accent to it, choose a wide belt that was worn with jackets and regular tops in the 80s.

Loose blouse and leggings

The general fashion for a healthy lifestyle and aerobics left in our memory and things associated with them. From the persistent association "80s - leggings" can not escape. Today, sports leggings are also everywhere. But if you consider leggings unacceptable for work, choose options from narrow and very narrow trousers. For example, this model with beautiful drapery. It can be supplemented with a loose blouse or hoodie.

Vinyl trench and ankle socks

If you decide to buy a vinyl raincoat, then pay attention to the model concise cut. Despite the fact that this material is no longer associated exclusively with BDSM aesthetics, it may take on too much attention. Ankle socks and a cap will help you create an up-to-date look with it.
