Bookmarks: Interactive film "Word" of discrimination

IN RUBRIC "IN BOOKMARKS" We talk about websites and online services - both useful and completely useless, but funny and amazing - which, in fact, should be added to favorites or added to the RSS-feed.

Word

The Word is an interactive documentary project by Ksenia the Brave, dedicated to hate speech, that is, offensive statements. In the film, which can be viewed on the project website, several heroes starred, they read out phrases, the authors of which oppose those who are not like them: people with unusual appearance, HIV-positive, gay and lesbian, homeless and older people. The film lasts about six minutes, and each of the characters, according to the authors, read the text for him for no more than twenty minutes - but "for all the participants in the process of the allotted time was enough to feel poisoned."

All the remarks that the heroes read out are not part of the script, but literal statements. Viewers can at any time press the spacebar and “go from words to actions” - that is, see frames with real manifestations of aggression.
