Stylist Oksana Markina about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week our heroine is the stylist Oksana Markina.

Three things always influenced my style: internal state, convenience, and my custom sizes. I always wore loose clothes. Since childhood, she used to pinch her with pins, wrap, twist and invent a hundred ways to put it on so that she would sit interestingly. In addition, my mother sewed me absolutely wild outfits. In the fifth grade, I wore a sweater with a leather skirt on the lock, a XXXL size denim overalls, “martins” and pigtails like Linda. I liked to look provocative and even funny in order to lighten the mood for myself and people. Coming to the session at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with dreadlocks to the waist is another attraction.

Youthful maximalism and the desire to prove that appearance is not the main thing, led me to wild experiments with style. Since then, I have preserved the love of the 90s, men's clothing, Asia and, of course, irony. All this gets along with tenderness to the uniform because of the influence of the dad-officer and dreams of the utopias of the future. Likely, therefore I love Uniqlo. The expression "shoemaker without shoes" is just about me: half of the things in my wardrobe are either from filming or donated by friends. I don’t spend time on a shopping trip at all and if I buy something, I usually travel. For example, there is an absolutely insane flea market in Bali, where I bought five antique Japanese kimonos and a few corsets - they were bargaining for them almost to death.

I try to live by the rules of meaningful consumption. Do not wear natural fur and skin. I prefer to use a string bag instead of plastic bags. As far as I can, I try not to sponsor hyper-consumption: processing and new life of old things are important for me. I dress according to my mood, spontaneously, that's why I brought sets to the shooting itself, in which I just often go lately.

Monki Fur Coat, Volchok Scarf, Uniqlo Pants, Hoodie Uniqlo Lemaire, Topshop Boots

On the issue of uniform: in this outfit, it seems, I will walk all winter. Warm and comfortable. The fur coat is a special success, everyone asks where it comes from. Wildly cool and reminds me of my nursery, to the heels, in which you could safely enter into a snowdrift. All proudly answer: my husband bought a fur coat. Scarf gave Vasya Volchok, the creator of the brand. In general, half of my wardrobe is his gifts: T-shirts, coats and scarves. My favorite is their “Current Negative” line. In general, I love Vasya, he does not let me get cold.

Once we filmed the finale of a TV project in November on the Gulf of Finland. It was fiercely cold, I had to spend eight hours on the site, and I only had sneakers with me. I ran into the nearest shopping center to buy something warm on my feet. As a result, the boots have been with me for several years: I wear them in any season, and over the years they only become more beautiful.

Mango jacket, Tigran Avetisyan cloak, Topshop boots

In this outfit, I look like a rave librarian. Jacket bought in the outlet for 149 rubles. By the way, I love jackets - I already have about eight pieces. In some of them, I can safely cosplay Stas Baretsky. This Mango is a real find, everything is perfect in it.

Tigran's cloak - a gift from the designer. I am delighted with what he does. I wear this thing in summer and winter: like a dress, raincoat, skirt, shirt to the museum and to the beach. I take it on all trips. Everything is cool in it, and the most important thing is that there is irony in it. How can you not love this leopard print, which actually turns out to be an exclamation of "NO!"? There are so many tags, accents and humor in this raincoat - I adore.

COS dress, Zara shoe boots, VIKA Jewels choker

I have already said that I love Japanese kimono and Chinese Hanfu - it does not matter, new or vintage. Often I give them to my friends, and they reciprocate. Lesya, designer of the brand Otocyon, recently brought me a very cool kimono with silk painting from Tokyo. I keep it for spring. This strict, concise dress only slightly resembles a kimono. I bought it during a completely crazy trip in Paris for the last euro.

Ankle boots found by chance. In general, I rarely wear heels, and when I saw this pair on a sale for 459 rubles, I decided that in the extreme case I would give them to someone. In the end, it turned out that this is the most comfortable shoes in my life. I have nothing to do with Chanel at home - it even hurts to stand in them. In this I once danced all night in “Armagh” and survived.

Top qipao from a flea market, H & M workouts, Uniqlo socks

In this outfit, I introduce myself to a Chinese granny engaged in wushu in Hong Kong park at seven in the morning in the 1980s. The top was bought somewhere at the flea market, and plush pants appeared in the wardrobe as a curtsy of the 2000s. Socks - from the male Uniqlo. I think I will soon collect all the colors.

Megastil corset, Cyrille Gassiline trousers, hoodie Uniqlo Lemaire, LevashovaElagina ring

The ring is a gift from Eugene, the creator of the brand. She is very cool, and her jewelry is appropriate. I wear this ring every day. The rest is just the outfit of modern urban medianjin.

Bershka dress, Vans sneakers

My aunt and sister once said that in this dress I looked like His Sparrow. Wearing it on the opening of "Rabitsa", I received such a number of compliments, not received so much in my life. It is clear that everyone had a romantic and festive mood, but even now they pay attention to this dress even in the metro: they come to me from the end of the car and say that I am beautiful. I will never throw it away, but rather I’ll make twenty such things to raise my self-esteem. I suffer that Vans sneakers are not suitable for the Russian winter.

Dress with flea market, sneakers Vans

Another favorite is the Italian dress, bought at a flea market in Thailand for 100 rubles. Many try to guess whose hands it is: most often think on Nina Donis and Stella McCartney. They also say that this is a nurse uniform.

Oysho bodysuit, men's pants from "Megastil", Zara ankle boots

Body very gentle and pleasant to the body. Pants bought for one of the shooting heroes - by the way, men are 193 centimeters tall. They somehow got accustomed at once in my wardrobe.

Top American Apparel, skirt from the children's department H & M, socks Daniil Landar, sneakers Vans

Top brought me a husband from Seoul. In American Apparel, by the way, there is my size - one of the few stores where I do not feel deprived. Socks Daniil Landar bought after reading a treatise on "Point and lines on the plane" Kandinsky. This is my schoolgirl outfit in the rhythm lesson.

Uniqlo Lemaire top, Adam Kimmel jeans, Versace belt, Sergey Teplov coat, vintage Cossacks, glasses from Hong Kong

My favorite outfit in the style of "Gangster Petersburg". The coat is a stumbling block in our family. The designer gave it to my husband, but I carry it - I can't part with it. This is the best coat. I have no idea how it was constructed, but there was not a single person for whom it would not be perfect.

Jeans are bought during one of the KM20 generous sales. They are male and gigantic - my option. I was inspired to buy Cossacks by the uniform of police in Indonesia: they usually wear aviator glasses, helmets and completely insane Cossacks and look epic. She took points at a spontaneous night market in Hong Kong - one of my favorite cities. As if the scenery of the movie "Avatar" was connected with "Spider-Man" and another with a couple of films of Wong Karwai. Absolutely insane place where monuments are put not to tanks, but to heroes from comics.

Dress and pants from a shoot, shoes Topshop

Recently, for one project, several sets of clothes were sewn away: simple and concise dresses, trousers, skirts from white thin denim. Misha Baryshnikov, the creative director of this project, and the stylist were persuaded to donate a couple of things to me - a burden with love for Misha and Marina Reamer, who sewed them. I like the incompleteness in these things, and the pins still remain with the fitting. Could in this dress to destroy zombies in a computer game or to be a laboratory assistant in 2117.

Jacket - a gift

The jacket is a true embodiment of the ideal 80s, they gave it to me.

Pendant and ring - gifts grandfather

The most important and most important decoration of my life. They gave me a beloved grandfather. He was super classy: he had an incredible sense of humor, an infectious laugh, wore cinches on his shirts so that the Italians would envy, talked with Vysotsky, traveled all over Russia, understood astronomy and physics, recited by heart the heads of Onegin, and was also a jeweler. The pendant received at a very young age, and I decided to try it with my teeth - their marks are still clearly visible. My name is engraved on the back with my grandfather's hands.

Parents gave me a snake ring for graduation or birthday. It was made of white gold, with a pile of stones and, as it turned out, with a very flexible tail, which eventually broke off. I sent the ring to grandpa for repairs. After some time, I returned this ring- "kiss". Remember bags and clutches with such a lock? When I saw the updated version, I immediately fell in love.

It has lost all its factory raid. Time passed decently, and once, during a telephone conversation with my grandmother, I learned that my grandfather was upset: it seemed to him that he had done it carelessly because of his age and had spoiled it. I asked to call him to the phone and thanked him: she told me that I wear it every day, I love it very much and I brag about it. He was so sincerely happy, we laughed and rejoiced. It so happened that this was my last conversation with him, and a short time later he was gone. It turns out that our last words were associated with gratitude, a declaration of love and laughter.

VIKA jewels

They are made by a girl of Russian origin who grew up in Berlin and lives in Bali. I sent them to Moscow, seeing my work somewhere. Laconic and always relevant.

LevashovaElagina Signet, Armaroot Pendant

Suspension in the form of a match won the contest in instagrame.

Jewelry from the transition

Everything is simple here: these decorations are from the underpass. A lot of shine does not happen.

Pearl Jewelry

Strings of pearls always appear from somewhere in my house. I cling them to my ears, winding them on my arms, legs and belt is a real luxury.

Dandelion pendant - gift, Florence pendant

A gift from an old friend. I've always loved Ray Dan Bradbury's “Dandelion Wine”. My friend remembered this and once he brought me this touching thing as a gift. Suspension bought during a working trip to Florence in the local weekend market at the fantastically classy Granddaddy.

Glasses from the Hong Kong market, Ray-Ban glasses

Parfum Histoires des Parfums Parfum de Revolte 1969

The most favorite flavor. It reminds me of one of the first days of work as a stylist: I ran to collect things at TSUM, and the girl tied me a ribbon with this scent. He opened all day. Its author is the son of an opera singer who releases bright perfumes. One smells exactly like old theater lipstick. The other is like the Moulin Rouge cabaret. The third has no name at all. It is assumed that you yourself write the story associated with it.
